Virtual YouTubers, or Vtubers, have become incredibly popular recently, building a huge and dedicated fanbase. This popularity means we’re starting to see more and more merchandise based on these animated online performers. Now, Funko is joining the fun with new Pop! Vinyl figures of three popular Vtubers: Mori Calliope, Takanashi Kiara, and Sakura Miko. These figures represent both the Japanese and English-speaking branches of Hololive, a major Vtuber agency. Previously, only Good Smile Company made collectible figures of Hololive Vtubers, so Funko’s involvement offers fans more variety. All three Funko Pops are available for pre-order now at Amazon and Entertainment Earth for $14.99 and are expected to ship in February.

The new Funko Pop for Hololive Vtuber Mori Calliope is incredibly cute! Calliope is known for her rapping and her design as the Grim Reaper’s apprentice, and the Pop perfectly captures her look. I especially love the pink eyes and the inclusion of her signature scythe – it wouldn’t be complete without it! All of Calliope’s fans – affectionately known as ‘Dead Beats’ – should definitely grab this for their collections.
The Takanashi Kiara (or Phoenix) Funko Pop is a must-have for fans! Her bright orange, teal, and purple design really stands out, with incredibly vibrant colors that make the figure truly special. These colors are key to capturing the essence of the Vtuber. As a fun detail, the figure also includes a KFP drumstick – a nod to the fried chicken restaurant that fans will appreciate!
Sakura Miko is a pioneering Vtuber from Hololive Japan and one of the first to achieve widespread recognition. She’s famous for her hilarious moments while playing games like GTA and Minecraft, which quickly became popular online. Her Funko Pop figure features her signature pink shrine maiden outfit. Including Miko in Funko’s initial Hololive collection was a great decision, as her growing popularity played a key role in introducing Hololive Japan – and Vtuber culture in general – to Western audiences.
I’ve been watching the Vtuber community grow, and it seems inevitable that we’ll see even more Hololive Funko Pops released. It wouldn’t surprise me if other collectible companies started making similar products too, given how quickly this trend is gaining momentum.
