PLAYISM and Crimson Dusk have announced that their 3D bullet hell action game, Homura Hime, will be coming to the Switch 2 in 2026.
As previously announced, Homura Hime will launch first for PC via Steam on March 4.

About
As a fan of action games, I’m really excited about Homura Hime! It’s a bullet-hell shooter with a super cool anime style – seriously, it looks like a moving painting. You play as Homura and basically have to fight off these powerful demon girls and tons of monsters. The combat is fast and all about chaining together awesome combos, reminding me of games like NieR and Devil May Cry. You’ll be dodging a ton of attacks while trying to clear the screen and uncover the story behind Homura and this world that needs saving. It looks absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to jump in!
This world is home to both humans and demons. When people die with strong feelings of sadness or regret, they can become incredibly powerful demons called Archdemons. These Archdemons can spread corruption, turning everything around them—and the creatures living there—into dangerous, instinct-driven monsters. When five especially powerful Archdemon Girls threaten the world, the High Priestess asks Homura Hime, known as the “Flame Princess” and a master exorcist, for help. Along with her loyal assistant Ann, Homura must complete a sacred quest to defeat these five Archdemon Girls and their monster armies, cleansing the world of their evil.
