The trailer centers around Mabel, a teen who loves animals and uses a special invention to transfer her mind into a robotic beaver. This leads her into a battle to protect the local animal habitat from a construction company. The Super Bowl ad builds on previous previews, revealing more about the animal community Mabel meets and the growing danger caused by new construction.

The new ad for Hoppers showcases the talented voice actors in the film, including Piper Curda as Mabel, Bobby Moynihan as King George the beaver, and Jon Hamm as Mayor Jerry. Other cast members include Kathy Najimy as Dr. Sam, a biology professor, Dave Franco as Titus, Ego Nwodim as the Fish Queen, Sam Richardson as grad student Conner, and Meryl Streep as the Insect Queen.

Hoppers, a new film from Pixar, has been in the works for several years and is directed by Daniel Chong, who also created the show We Bare Bears. A recent teaser shown during the Super Bowl highlights a unique visual style, showcasing the contrast between the robots’ mechanical designs and the fluid, natural movements of the world around them.
