The first-person horror game, HORSES, will be released on PC through the Epic Games Store, GOG, itch.io, and the Humble Store on December 2nd, according to developer Santa Ragione. Unfortunately, it won’t be available on Steam, as Valve banned the game from the platform without providing a clear reason.
Here is an overview of the game, via Santa Ragione:
About
Explore a chilling first-person horror game where what’s real and what’s imagined become terrifyingly mixed. You have fourteen days to investigate a horse farm, but be sure to follow the rules… if you can discover them.
Take a break from your college coursework and spend the summer helping out on a secluded farm.
It’s warm and peaceful here, with friendly people and gentle horses. Each day offers new things to do, and while the overall purpose isn’t always obvious, the work is straightforward. Plus, after a good day’s work, there’s often something fun to do in the evenings.
For two weeks, it challenges you with situations that push your limits of obedience, how willing you are to go along with things, and your self-control.
