Here is an overview of version 1.0 release, via Wired Productions:
Following a successful period as an Early Access game and lots of updates based on player feedback, Hotel Architect is officially launching on May 14th. This full release marks one year since the game first became available in Early Access and includes highly requested features like a Custom Sandbox mode, two new locations to build in, and general improvements to gameplay.
Developed with a lot of input from its players, Hotel Architect is now a top-rated hotel management game on Steam. It lets you build and run your ideal hotel – from luxurious five-star resorts to chaotic, barely-functioning establishments – offering a high degree of control and creative freedom.
Since its initial release as an Early Access game, Hotel Architect has become a highly detailed and popular hotel management simulator on Steam, shaped by player feedback. The full version expands on this success with many new features and enhancements. Here’s what’s new in the 1.0 launch:
- Custom Sandbox Mode – Offering players a wider range of creative freedom to design, build and manage their own hotels, with the option to set a buildable area and maximum floor cap.
- Expansion to the Scenario Mode – Adding the ability for players to create their very own scenarios, with new difficulty options.
- Two New Locations – Expanding the hospitality empire to the Black Forest, Germany and London, United Kingdom.
- Couples System – Guests aren’t arriving alone anymore!
- Expanded Systems and Improvements – A wide range of balancing updates, additional languages, and quality-of-life improvements across the entire experience.
Beyond the fresh content, Hotel Architect already provides a detailed and adaptable hotel management experience. Update 1.0 expands the game with two new locations, bringing the total number of buildable destinations to eight: Gothenburg, Santorini, Paris, St. Anton, New York, and Las Vegas. Players can earn rewards by completing core and optional goals, satisfy a wide range of guests with specific needs, and oversee a team of employees – each with individual skills and weaknesses that affect how the hotel runs. With plenty of areas to design and customize across multiple floors, Hotel Architect offers a comprehensive, flexible, and incredibly creative simulation experience.
