House Of The Dragon Star’s Riveting Spy Thriller Is Leaving Streaming

James Norton, who will appear as Lord Ormund Hightower in the upcoming third season of House of the Dragon, is also starring in the spy thriller Rogue Agent, which is no longer available on streaming services.

I’m really excited to see Norton in the new Game of Thrones spin-off! He’s such a talented actor, and I just saw he was in this great spy thriller called Rogue Agent from 2022. It’s about this conman, Robert Freegard, who Norton plays – he pretends to be a secret agent for MI5 and gets involved in this crazy kidnapping plot. Gemma Arterton is fantastic as Alice Archer, the woman who tries to stop him during the chase.

The crime thriller Rogue Agent will no longer be available on Netflix after February 11th, so viewers have just a few weeks left to watch it. The movie received a 72% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was a top 10 hit on the streaming service. It also earned over $190,000 in theaters with a limited release.

James Norton, the actor from shows like Little Women, Happy Valley, and House of Guinness, is joining House of the Dragon for its third season. He’ll be playing Lord Ormund Hightower, a character who plays a significant role in the fifth book of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, A Dance with Dragons. While it’s not yet known exactly how his character will affect the new season, given the show’s history of twists and turns, he’s sure to add plenty of drama.

Norton is working on several future films, such as Dog Person, Heart of Darkness, Wavewalker: Breaking Free, and four currently unnamed biopics about each of the Beatles. He’s also involved in projects called Wife and Dog and Sunny Dancer. Gemma Arterton, who has appeared in films like Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Clash of the Titans, and The King’s Man, also has upcoming roles in Secret Service and Watch the Skies.

Rogue Agent will be leaving Netflix on February 11, 2026.
