How Collin Gosselin Feels About Dad Jon Gosselin Getting Remarried

For Colin Gosselin, his dad Jon Gosselin‘s wedding to Stephanie Lebo was a bittersweet affair.

Jon’s daughter Hannah was the only other of his eight children with ex-wife Kate to go to the wedding on November 23rd.

Despite any disagreements, it was clear today that my sister and I both love our father and recognize how much he deserves this happiness,” Collin, 21, shared with Entertainment Tonight at the wedding. “I was hoping my other siblings could have been here to share it with us.”

He explained how much it would have meant to have his fellow sextuplets – Alexis, Leah, Aaden, and Joel – and his sisters, Mady and Cara, 25, at the event, even though he and Jon haven’t been close to them recently.

Collin added that he loves them and wishes they could have been there. He also expressed how happy he and Hannah were to see their dad get married, emphasizing the importance of marriage.

The former star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 shared that he was very emotional watching his father, Jon, marry Stephanie in a small wedding in Pennsylvania, following their four years together.

I was really moved, and I don’t usually cry, but I couldn’t help myself, especially during his vows,” Collin said. “It felt like a huge moment for me. Looking at my dad, I felt like I could see all the struggles he’d been through in his marriage and in life, and it felt like those burdens were just lifting off of him.

This felt like the end result of his father’s recovery after his divorce from Kate in 2009.

He explained it wasn’t simply happiness about the wedding itself, but a deeper emotional experience. Seeing his friend now, he reflected on the past and felt a sense of liberation and joy, realizing how much both he and his partner deserved this happiness.

And Jon, Collin believes, has found his perfect match in the research and development specialist.

He stressed that they simply have a deep, unconditional love for each other. It’s not about labels or a formal commitment – it’s just about them enjoying each other’s company and living their lives without any pressure or expectations.

While Jon and Stephanie settle into married life, let’s remember Collin and his brothers and sisters as they grew up.

On May 10, 2025, sextuplets Hannah, Collin, Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel celebrated their 21st birthday. Kate shared photos from the party held for Aaden, Leah, Joel, and Alexis.

Hannah celebrated her birthday with her dad and his fiancée Stephanie Lebo.

Kate shared a Mother’s Day 2024 post honoring four of her children – Alexis, Aaden, Joel, and Leah – just two days after her sextuplets turned twenty. These four children currently live with her.

She celebrated her children turning twenty with a post on Instagram, writing, ‘No more teenagers in this house! Happy 20th birthday to my babies, I love you!’ She jokingly added, ‘Who feels old? I know I do!’ and used the hashtag ‘#20yearsold #ItsaPICKLE’.

Hannah shared new pics of herself on her and the other sextuplet’s 20th birthday.

On to the next chapter! The sextuplet graduated from high school in 2023.

Jon posted a photo of his sextuplets, Collin and Hannah, graduating high school in 2023. They had been living with him for several years prior to the graduation.

Kate appeared with twin Mady and Cara in New York City in this 2019 pic.

In 2022, Jon posted on Instagram, wishing his child a happy 18th birthday. He wrote, “Today we’re celebrating your birthday, and I want everyone to know how much I love you.” He signed the message, “Love, Dad.”

Kate recently celebrated her children turning fifteen! The day started early with a gift at 6:30 am and continued all day long. Reflecting on the milestone in 2019, she expressed how quickly time has passed and how proud she is of the wonderful people they are becoming. She’s amazed by them every day and loves seeing their positive qualities develop as they grow into young adults.

In a 2018 Instagram post, Kate expressed her surprise at how quickly summer flew by, writing, “This was yesterday! Feels like school never ended…and they’re already back!” She added the hashtags #SeniorYear, #EighthGrade, and #ProudMom.

Sharing a photo with Hannah and Collin, he expressed his disbelief at how quickly time has passed and told them how much he loves them. He wished them a wonderful birthday and hopes they enjoy their celebrations this weekend, signing the message with ‘Love always, Dad’.

Kate was surprised when her daughters kept bringing up their upcoming 14th birthdays. She shared a recent conversation with her followers: ‘Today they told me it was just 12 days until they turn 14!’ Kate jokingly told her daughter Leah she was too young to be turning 14, and Leah responded by questioning if she might actually be turning 11 or 12. Kate reassured her, ‘I’m positive – I gave birth to you!’ She added that no matter how old they get, they’ll always be her babies, and she loves them very much.

Kate Gosselin expressed her amazement on Instagram, saying she couldn’t believe her sextuplets were turning thirteen.

Rewind to 2014 whenKate and her children found themselves visiting Alaska. 

In 2014, Kate took her twin daughters, Cara and Mady Gosselin, on a trip to New York City, including a visit to a Manhattan hotel.

Kate Gosselin shared a sweet Christmas memory on Instagram, posting a throwback photo from Christmas Eve 2010 when her six children were all six years old. She described them as incredibly excited and highlighted their adorable smiles, adding hashtags like #TheyAreMyHeart and #My8ReasonsToKeepOnKeepingOn to express her love for them.
