Hilaria Baldwin and Alec Baldwin’s kids saw their mom leave it all on the dance floor.
Though Hilaria and her partner Gleb Savchenko were eliminated from Dancing With the Stars on October 7th, her children – Carmen (12), Rafael (10), Leonardo (9), Romeo (7), Eduardo (5), María (4), and Ilaria (2) – got to see their mom enjoy doing what she loves again, right from the front row.
Hilaria shared in an interview with TopMob News on October 20th that her family was incredibly supportive, and her children attended every session with her. She said they were all very enthusiastic.
Hilaria Baldwin, 41, explained that her and Alec’s children—normally living in New York—were excited about the temporary change of scenery to Los Angeles, though it wasn’t easy. She was a busy mom training for several hours almost every day, up to six times a week.
Hilaria said the team really came together, but she missed being present due to the demanding schedule. While her kids were understanding, it was difficult seeing their disappointment, and she was exhausted returning after being away.
Despite her demanding schedule and the negativity from viewers of Dancing With the Stars during her time competing with Robert Irwin, Dylan Efron, Danielle Fishel, and others, it was really heartwarming to see her family remain supportive.
As a parent, what really resonates with me is how she teaches her kids to just be themselves and keep going, even when people say negative things. She emphasizes that it’s okay to stumble and even fall, but the most important thing is to always get back up and keep moving forward. It’s a really powerful message, and I try to instill that same resilience in my own children.
Hilaria, for her part, believes she did just that as she tuned out the negative noise.
She said her time on the reality show helped her rediscover a passion she’d had for years. ‘I just really love to dance and wanted to enjoy myself,’ she explained.
Hilaria was happy to discover that she and her partner, Gleb, shared a passion for dance. As she explained, they were both fascinated by both the artistry and the technique of movement and dance itself.
