Let the rain fall down, because Hilary Duff is coming clean about her latest song inspiration.
With fans guessing her new song “We Don’t Talk” was inspired by a difficult relationship with her sister Haylie Duff, Hilary said she wasn’t surprised by all the attention the unreleased song was getting.
Hilary recently told Rolling Stone that she knew putting that particular song on her album would be difficult. She explained that dealing with the very personal and isolating feelings behind the song was a struggle, and she had to decide whether or not to share such a vulnerable part of her life.
You know, I always say, if people are going to assume things about your life anyway, it’s much better to take control and share your story on your own terms. It’s empowering, really – owning your narrative instead of letting others define it for you.
Growing up in the public eye means people are familiar with my life and the people in it, so they understand my references. It was really important for me to be honest about this topic because it was a very personal experience.
TopMob News has attempted to reach reps for Haylie for comment.
Hilary Duff recently performed the song live, previewing her upcoming album, luck…or something, which is set to release on February 20th. The song explores the painful experience of being estranged from a family member, despite sharing a common background and bloodline.
Although Hilary hasn’t stopped people from believing the song is about her sister, she strongly denies the idea that a small yellow coach featured in her stage design was a deliberate hidden reference to her. She called that theory ‘completely false’.
She strongly denied the claims, calling them false and ridiculous. She explained she was too busy with her life and family to address every comment or speculation, adding that the song was simply a personal expression of her own experiences.

Hilary Duff is returning to pop music and has been open about the challenges she’s faced since her last album in 2015. She’s also shared updates on her family life, including her relationships with her parents, Robert and Susan Duff.
Hilary recently shared that both her life and her parents’ relationship have been challenging, alluding to their difficult divorce in 2008. She explained that many people experience similar situations and that she felt ready to talk about it now, which is why she decided to open up.

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, following his announcement in November 2023 that he was leaving Queer Eye after eight seasons. (Bobby is shown second from the left in the picture.)
He assured Vanity Fair that he and Tan are doing okay. He explained they went through a personal issue, but it’s separate from their work on the show and wasn’t related to a romantic connection. It was something that had been building up between them privately.
In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.
Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately earned it because they were the most qualified. I also want to be clear that I didn’t help them get the part by having anyone else removed from consideration, as I shared on Instagram.

I was absolutely shocked when Sharon Osbourne revealed on TopMob News, while playing ‘Stir the Pot’ with Kelly, that Danny Masterson was the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered! She didn’t hold back at all, repeatedly calling him rude and even describing him as a ‘dastardly little thing.’ It was a really strong statement, and I couldn’t believe she felt that way after all these years.
He did not respond to her remarks publicly.
Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed annoyed when he was on The Talk in 2014, after she mispronounced his name.
She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ Her response was sharp: ‘Listen, don’t mess with me, because I’ll completely destroy you.’ She finished by saying, ‘You have no idea who you’re talking to, young man.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris clashed with Brittany Aldean, the wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition genders during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she enjoys her feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, explaining that Bure once declined to pose for a photo with her at a red carpet event, which Siwa felt was a rejection. Soon after, Bure publicly apologized, saying she had unintentionally hurt Siwa when she was younger and expressing her regret for not taking the picture. She said, “I feel crummy, JoJo, I’m so sorry.”
Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday films, she said it wouldn’t, explaining that the network will continue to focus on traditional marriage.
JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to an entire community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for her band Hole in a promotional photo without giving proper credit. Olivia responded with a supportive message, saying “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, thanking Olivia and offering to share the contact information for her favorite florist in London if Olivia messaged her directly.

While on Watch What Happens Live, the actor from Happy Days explained why he and the star of Forrest Gump didn’t get along while filming their 1989 movie, Turner & Hooch.
I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, called me into his office and told me to pack up and go home, as I had everything I needed with me, he said.
Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to hit it off. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said, “We got along great.”
He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”
Those who watched The Hills probably recall Lauren’s famous line from the start of season three. The drama between them began when Heidi started dating her future husband, Spencer Pratt. It escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor that she had made a sex tape with her boyfriend at the time, Jason Wahler.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out in 2017, starting with an Instagram post by Tyrese complaining about the delay of Fast & Furious 9 until April 2020. Interestingly, on the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced, slated for release in 2019. The next month, Tyrese even said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne Johnson was still involved.
I was really struck by what Tyrese shared on The Red Pill with Van Lathan. He admitted that, even now, he and The Rock haven’t spoken directly – he said they will talk eventually, but it hasn’t happened yet. He did mention he’d connected with one of The Rock’s producing partners, but not with Dwayne himself. It’s just a tough situation to hear about, honestly.
Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations that were voiced by others connected to the film series. He explained that he was the one who spoke out, and he takes responsibility for that, calling it unprofessional and regrettable.

No more bad blood here.
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were famously feuding for several years, with some believing the conflict even fueled Taylor’s song “Bad Blood.” The disagreement, which began with issues over a dancer and competing concert tours, was resolved when Katy sent Taylor an olive branch as a peace offering before Taylor’s Reputation Tour began.
Taylor shared on Instagram that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.
Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker situation for a while now. For years, they successfully navigated rumors of a feud, but things really flared up when Kim decided not to participate in another Sex and the City movie. Then, she made some comments about Sarah Jessica Parker that definitely got people talking and seemed to confirm those long-held suspicions.
In September 2017, during an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been colleagues, not friends.
She was deeply upset, saying she felt heartbroken. They had talked about it all week, and she found the situation really disturbing because it didn’t match her memory of what had happened.
It’s definitely sad, but I believe what truly connects us is the shared experience we all had. It started as a professional project, but over the years it became something deeply personal. I’m hoping that those years of working on something special, and the connection people felt to it, will ultimately be more important than anything that’s been said recently. It was a real privilege to be a part of.
And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously told the audience that he thought her claim as the best live act was ridiculous, specifically calling out her use of lip-syncing and suggesting performers who lip-sync during paid concerts should face serious consequences.

The actress, formerly known for her role on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to be removed from Emmy Award nominations. She explained that she didn’t believe the storylines she was given were strong enough to deserve a nomination.
Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine Heigl’s departure during a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “When someone consistently reveals their true character, you should pay attention,” Shonda explained. “I’ve really taken that to heart, and it’s been a valuable lesson for me.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week made headlines everywhere. A month later, Cardi publicly explained what started the argument with Nicki.
Ugh, I’m so frustrated! Cardi B said in W magazine that this other person has been constantly coming for her, you know? Apparently, they talked it out twice and thought everything was good, but this person just wouldn’t let it go! It’s like, can’t they just leave her alone? It’s so annoying to watch, honestly. I’m totally on Cardi’s side, of course!
The conflict really escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had reportedly liked, and then quickly unliked, a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting. Nicki has stated she didn’t actually interact with the tweet.
Cardi B explained she turned down a very profitable Bruno Mars tour so she could be with her daughter, something she doesn’t regret. She emphasized how much she loves her daughter and considers herself a great mom. She found it frustrating that someone without children would criticize her for being at a party, adding that opportunities to meet artists casually are rare, and she wasn’t going to pass up a chance encounter.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They later reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 following the release of Kanye’s song “Famous,” which mentioned Taylor by name.
Just before the Grammys in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for this action, and Taylor Swift didn’t publicly acknowledge it.

“I don’t know her.”
The rumored rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez began with a 2003 television interview in Germany. When asked about Jennifer Lopez, Mariah responded simply, “I don’t know her.”
