How Jenna Bush Hager’s Kids Threw Her the Ultimate Birthday Bash

Jenna Bush Hager had an extra reason to “say cheese” this Thanksgiving holiday.

Jenna Bush Hager celebrated her 44th birthday with a special dinner party thrown by her family. Her husband, Henry Hager, and their three children – Mila, 12, Poppy, 10, and Hal, 6 – all helped put it together.

Jenna shared on Instagram on December 2nd that she celebrated Sagittarius season with a special gathering. Her kids helped plan the event, which was a joyful reunion with loved ones at The Colony Palm Beach. She expressed gratitude as she entered December.

I was so touched when the kids and I made a special birthday tasting menu for Mom! It was absolutely adorable. We started with a little cheese plate we called ‘Brie My Queen,’ then moved on to these amazing mini Texas tacos filled with beans and cheese. But the best part? Dessert! They named it ‘The Cat Nap Crunch,’ and it was coffee ice cream with crushed Oreos – Mom’s absolute favorite! It was such a sweet and thoughtful thing to do, and she loved every bite.

Jenna explained to Andy Cohen on Today, November 25th, that Mila essentially led the creative side of things, and that the menu was her creation.

Ultimately, the dinner celebration, while fun, was a little too cheesy—literally—for Jenna.

She admitted she loves cheese, but added with a laugh that a big cheese feast just doesn’t feel as good when you’re 44 as it did when you were 22.

Jenna Bush Hager, cohost of the Today show, shared photos of her 44th birthday celebration. She revealed that her kids – Mila, 12, Poppy, 10, and Hal, 6 – helped her and her husband, Henry Hager, put together a special dinner party in her honor.

Jenna celebrated Sagittarius season with a special gathering on December 2nd. Her kids helped plan the festivities, and she enjoyed a reunion with loved ones at the beautiful Colony Palm Beach. She expressed gratitude as she entered December.

For her birthday, the TV personality’s children made a special tasting menu. It featured fun, creative dishes like a cheese snack called “Brie My Queen,” Texas-style bean and cheese tacos, and a dessert named “The Cat Nap Crunch” – coffee ice cream with crushed Oreos.

While celebrating her birthday a little early, the host of Today With Jenna and Friends explained how the celebration came together.

She told Andy that they put on some shows, and Poppy even wrote a song – possibly with a little help from artificial intelligence.

I was so touched to hear about Mila! Apparently, she wrote something for school that was just incredible. Jenna shared in her newsletter that Mila’s writing was so profound, it actually made her cry. It’s amazing to see both Poppy and Mila showing such talent – it really runs in the family!

She shared that she often finds the greatest peace in the simple joys of her children. Whether it’s looking at their schoolwork, holding them close at bedtime, or listening to their sweet and imaginative thoughts, she feels a renewed sense of hope for the future.
