Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are keeping up with the “Kardashian Curse.”

Two members of the Kardashian-Jenner family are trying to prove a popular internet claim wrong: that dating one of them leads to their boyfriends’ athletic struggles. They’re hoping to put the rumor to rest for good.

On February 6th, Kim posted on Instagram Stories about a bet she made on the Super Bowl, explaining, “Just hear me out… I’m proving the curse isn’t real because someone from our group is going to win!” She shared a screenshot of her bet with Fanatics.

A 45-year-old man wagered just 69 cents on the Seattle Seahawks to win against the New England Patriots on February 8th, with a possible prize of over $347,000. Separately, Kylie Jenner, following her sister’s example, also placed a bet.

On February 8th, a 28-year-old posted on Instagram Stories, stating, ‘Kim invested in the Seahawks.’ She then questioned, ‘Does that mean I copied her by also investing in the Seahawks?’

Following Kim Kardashian’s well-known comment on her show about her sister Kourtney seemingly imitating her Italian wedding, Kylie Jenner hinted that she also made a wager predicting a win for the Seattle team.

This bet follows Kendall Jenner’s earlier announcement that she’s rooting for the New England Patriots. She asked retired NFL player and commentator Tom Brady to help her pick a winning team.

Kendall recently joked about the famous sports curse in a new Super Bowl 2026 advertisement for Fanatics Sportsbook.

In a new ad set to air during the Patriots-Seahawks game on February 8th, Kendall Jenner playfully addresses online rumors. She asks, “Haven’t you heard? The internet says I’m cursed,” referencing speculation about her past relationships with athletes like Devin Booker and Blake Griffin.

Kendall jokingly says that any basketball player she dates tends to struggle with their career. She demonstrates this by dramatically burning a pile of NBA jerseys.

In the advertisement, the founder of 818 Tequila displays a luxurious lifestyle, explaining that she achieved it by successfully betting against her former partners.

She playfully says, “Everyone’s been discussing this, but I’ve been investing in it. Do you really think I could afford this lifestyle just from modeling?”

She finishes off the commercial adding, “Kardashian Curse…it’s not even my last name.”

I remember when everyone was buzzing about Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner! Back in November 2013, Kendall was interviewed by Giuliana Rancic and basically shut down all the relationship rumors. She said there was ‘no story’ – they were just friends. She did admit he was ‘cool’ though, which, honestly, felt like a little hint that they at least enjoyed spending time together!
