And just like that, Sarah Jessica Parker is a 2026 Golden Globes honoree.

The award show revealed that actress Kristin Davis, known for her role in Sex and the City and a six-time Golden Globe winner, will receive the 2026 Carol Burnett Award. This honor recognizes her significant impact on television, both as a performer and through her work behind the scenes.

Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne announced that Sarah Jessica Parker will receive the Carol Burnett Award. Hoehne explained that Parker’s pioneering work in television and her commitment to acting in all types of performances – on stage, in movies, and on TV – have had a lasting impact on our culture.

She added, “We are honored to celebrate her extraordinary contributions to entertainment.”

Ending the HBO show was a difficult decision for creator Michael Patrick King, as well as the stars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.

Did anyone predict this twist in the And Just Like That… revival? Miranda divorcing her husband to chase after a comedian on tour definitely came as a surprise!

The funniest moment was definitely Che and Miranda having a secret encounter in Carrie’s kitchen – all while Carrie, recovering from hip surgery, accidentally had an accident in bed. It was a hilariously awkward situation.

Their romance with the Russian seemed perfect at first, but it quickly fell apart. He clashed with Carrie’s friends, and her sudden decision to move to Paris ended the relationship badly.

The most memorable scene? After a series of over-the-top romantic displays, Carrie actually fainted! And naturally, Petrovsky responded by taking her, still in her beautiful gown, to McDonald’s. They shared a slow dance while waiting for their fries – it was a truly swoon-worthy moment for everyone watching.

Trey seemed ideal for Charlotte on the surface, but problems quickly emerged after their wedding. His mother was controlling, he struggled with intimacy, and he didn’t want children. To top it all off, he actually gave her a cardboard cutout of a baby – it was a bizarre and upsetting gesture!

The sweetest moment was when Trey surprised Charlotte with a trip to Tiffany’s, letting her choose any ring she wanted. He did this to apologize for his previously awkward “Alrighty!” remark.

Samantha’s first relationship built on something other than physical attraction ended because of a sexual issue – specifically, her partner James’s size.

Best moment: When Samantha told James she loved him. A huge (no pun intended) moment for her.

Poor, poor Skipper. He was kind of like a Steve-lite, and Miranda was able to walk all over him.

Best moment: When he calls her “luminous” during their chance meeting at a bodega.

It was surprising when Carrie’s best friend and Charlotte’s wedding planner became a couple on the show, but many viewers actually like them together.

The most touching moment was during their vows, when Anthony shared, “It wasn’t love at first sight, but it definitely became love. You’re the first person who’s truly accepted me for who I am.”

Aidan was a good person, but he and Carrie just weren’t a good fit, even though they both wanted to believe they were. But the second season of And Just Like That… suggests that revisiting old flames is a popular idea right now. (We’re choosing to forget about whatever happened between them in Sex and the City 2.)

Was it strange that the most memorable scene was their second breakup—when they were lying on the floor of an apartment they’d never share?

Robert seemed ideal – a handsome doctor for the Knicks with surprisingly similar taste in TV shows as Miranda. The only problem was, he wasn’t Steve.

Some of their most memorable moments included their first kiss by the mailboxes, her unexpectedly taking a day off work just to be with him, and a shared experience with chickenpox.

Among all of Samantha’s love interests on Sex and the City, Smith Jerrod stands out as particularly great. He was incredibly patient and generous with Samantha, who fiercely resisted falling for him despite his charm and success.

It’s hard not to get emotional remembering when Smith shaved his head to support Samantha during her chemotherapy, after she lost her hair. It was a truly touching moment.

The best moment? It has to be Big finally confessing his love for Carrie in Paris! (And we still can’t help but laugh at that silly prank with the whoopee cushion.)

We were as surprised by Miranda’s feelings for Steve as we were by their breakup in the first season of And Just Like That…. We’re still rooting for Steve!

As a huge SATC fan, I always think back to Miranda and Steve’s proposal and wedding as their absolute best moment. It was so them – completely unexpected, totally low-key, and just… perfect. It really captured what made their relationship so special and real, and it’s a scene I’ll always love.

Love often arrives unexpectedly, and sometimes in the most surprising places – like falling for your divorce lawyer, who also turns out to be an amazing dad to your kids.

The most memorable moment was their wedding – wonderfully messy and imperfectly perfect. Throughout the series, Charlotte dreamed of a fairytale wedding, but she ultimately received something even better: a fairytale marriage.

Family is the most important thing in life. You’ll have ups and downs with them, but they’re the people who will always be there for you. Family isn’t always about who you’re born to; it’s about the people you choose to build a life with.

Choosing a single best moment was tough! While Carrie walking Miranda down the aisle was incredibly touching, we ultimately picked the scene where Miranda immediately stops worrying about her wedding after learning about Samantha’s cancer. All four friends came together in that moment, prioritizing each other over the celebration. That’s a perfect example of true friendship – putting your friends’ needs first.
