To start your team in Pokémon Pokopia, you’ll need to collect Beans, Tomatoes, and Wheat.
Knowing where to find these ingredients is also really helpful for future cooking, so it’s worth the effort to learn how to obtain them.
You can get these items right away, depending on how far you’ve progressed in the game. If you’re just starting out, you might have to do a little work to unlock them, but it’s generally pretty easy!
So, let’s take you through how to get Beans, Tomatoes and Wheat in Pokopia!
How to get Beans in Pokémon Pokopia explained
Out of the three crops, Beans are the easiest to get your hands on in Pokopia.
When you first encounter Drilbur, you’ll receive Bean Seeds to start growing beans. You’ll also get some from Hitmonchan if you help them with a favor.
You can find Beans in various spots within the initial Withered Wasteland area, so just explore to find them.
Beans are available in the same locations as Tomatoes and Wheat, listed below. You can also find them on Dream Islands by giving Drifloon a Doll each day.

How to get Tomatoes in Pokémon Pokopia explained
You can obtain Wheat once you reach ‘Great’ Trainer Level, which unlocks access to Bleak Beach.
Go through the eastern gate of the Pokémon Center in Withered Wasteland, continuing past the spot where you initially encountered Drilbur.
Feel free to pick ripe tomatoes from the plants around here! There are also more growing that you can water to enjoy later.
After you discover Tomatoes, you can purchase Tomato Seeds at the PC Shop. They cost 50 Coins for a pack of five seeds.
Like Beans, you can also find Tomatoes on Drifloon’s Dream Islands.

How to get Wheat in Pokémon Pokopia explained
Again, once you’ve increased your Trainer Level to great, you can unlock the Rocky Ridges
Go northwest from the Withered Wasteland, beyond the cave where Onix was held, and you’ll see a large gate.
Go through the gate to get to Rocky Ridges. You’ll see a field of Wheat around an old, deserted farm. Water any plants that are still growing to help them thrive, and then gather the ripe wheat.
You can obtain Wheat Seeds to plant and grow Wheat in a few ways: by receiving them as gifts from Pokémon found in Rocky Ridges, finding them inside red Poké Ball items, or by splashing water around.
Lastly, just like Beans and Tomatoes, Wheat can also be found on Drifloon’s Dream Islands.
