In the early stages of Borderlands 4, locating a particularly elusive ECHO Log near Shammy’s Shack might prove challenging due to its cryptic hiding spot. The game’s map may lead you astray, and given that it’s one of the first collectibles you encounter, you might not yet be accustomed to the game’s methods for concealing such items. To find this particular ECHO Log, you’ll need to start from a distance and work your way towards it. We’re here to help, so let us guide you through the process of acquiring this collectible!
How to Grab the ECHO Log Near Shammy’s Shack | Borderlands 4

To obtain the Echo Log at Shammy’s Shack, you’ll need to venture a little farther than it might initially seem. The destination is marked on the map by a structure with communication balloons that can be grappled, which will lead you there.

Upon arrival, simply press the visual cue displayed on the screen to set off the balloons from the silo, allowing you to ascend into the sky!

Take a moment to appreciate the journey as you travel east along the zipline. Continue until your path is aligned with the small tent depicted in the image above. When you’re close to it, dismount from the zipline and employ your jetpack for a controlled descent towards the tent. Use the image as guidance for when to detach yourself from the zipline; that should be shortly after the ‘Shammy’s Shack’ area name appears on your game screen.

Upon arriving at the tent, please take a moment to glance at the box located near the bed. The “About the Doubt” ECHO Log can be found on top of that box. Grab it to obtain this collectible and catch some insights from Rush about the current situation – although expect a slightly humorous twist!
