You can find Zubamon, a Rookie Digimon, fairly early on in Digimon Story Time Stranger. With a little knowledge of where to search, you can actually obtain it within the first few hours of gameplay – you don’t even need to progress very far into the prologue! You will need to start with a less powerful Digimon and then Digivolve it first, though. Keep reading for all the details so you can get Zubamon as quickly as possible!
How to Get Zubamon EARLY | Digimon Story Time Stranger

You’ll find Zubamon right away when you reach the entrance of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. It’s very early in the game and you can’t miss it! Just play through the beginning of the game’s story, and you’ll get there quickly.

Once you reach that location, you’ll need to battle the wild Digimon nearby. If you’re lucky, you’ll encounter Punimon, pictured above. It’s a little red, slimy creature with three spikes sticking out of its head. Keep defeating Punimon until you reach 100% or 200% Scan data – this is how you “capture” it.
Once you’ve obtained your Punimon, simply raise its level a bit. You can earn experience points (EXP) by battling other Digimon or by using the Load Enhancements feature. This feature lets you turn EXP from Digimon you’ve already scanned into EXP for a different Digimon – like your Punimon!

Your task is to increase Punimon’s attack power to 200 or more. Reaching this level will enable you to Digivolve it into Tsunomon, as illustrated above.

Once Tsunomon Digivolves, I usually like to level it up a little more to boost its stats. I try to get at least 280 ATK and 200 DEF, or even higher if I can. That’s when it’ll finally evolve into the Zubamon I’m aiming for! Seriously, it’s that easy.
So, that’s the quickest way to get Zubamon in Digimon Story Time Stranger! It’s really just like getting BlackGatomon early, since you can find both Digimon in the same place.
