How to Start Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Mysteria Ecclesiae is the last downloadable content for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. It adds a new story, quests, and a new area to explore: Sedletz Monastery. Like the other DLCs, you’ll need to meet certain requirements before you can start it. This guide will show you how to begin the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC Requirements in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To unlock the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC, you need to own it and reach the second day of the main quest, “The Sword and the Quill.” After you arrive in Kuttenberg and advance the story, a purple shield will appear on your map. Where this shield shows up will change depending on how far you’ve gotten in the quest – it marks Peter of Pisek’s current location.

Speak to Peter of Pisek to Start Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC

Okay, so I finished all the stuff needed for the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC, and now I need to find Peter of Pisek to actually start it. He’s the one who gives out the quests for this new content. You can find him in either Suchdol or Kuttenberg City. If I finished the main story of Kingdom Come II, he’ll be in Kuttenberg City. I just need to follow the icon on my compass to find him and talk to him – that’ll kick off the first quest, “The Royal Physician.” Pretty straightforward!

If you’re unable to find Peter of Pisek, try traveling between Trosky and Kuttenberg. This often resolves the issue. If that doesn’t work, simply waiting may cause Peter to move to a different location.

Find Albich of Uniczow and Departure for the Monastery

Once you begin the Royal Physician quest, Peter of Pisek will ask you to find Albich at the Apothecary in Kuttenberg. Follow the on-screen marker to the Apothecary and talk to the shopkeeper. He’ll tell you Albich has gone to help a sick neighbor two houses to the east. Go to that house and deliver Pisek’s Letter to Albich.

Before you can leave with Albich, you’ll face two men – you’ll either need to succeed in a skill check or defeat them in a fight. After that, you’ll be able to choose to travel to Sedletz Monastery with Albich. Keep in mind that if you accept this journey, you’ll be committing to the downloadable content.

NOTE: You cannot leave the Monastery until you complete the Mysteria Ecclesiae story.

Be sure to come prepared with items like Saviour Schnapps, lockpicks, and poisons. You’ll need these to navigate the story, as your usual weapons won’t be usable inside the Monastery.
