PlayStation is set to reveal what’s coming for PS5 owners with its September 2025 State of Play presentation, ending a period of quiet updates. These September events are now a regular occurrence, and usually showcase upcoming PS5 games – both those releasing soon and further in the future. Currently, the only confirmed game is *Saros* from Housemarque, but expect many more announcements and surprises!
Want to tune in to the new PlayStation State of Play? Here’s what you need to know.
Where Time Is This New State of Play?

A new PlayStation State of Play presentation is happening today, September 24th, starting at 5pm Eastern Time / 2pm Pacific Time. The presentation is expected to last about 35 minutes. We already know five minutes will be dedicated to showing gameplay from the game *Saros* for the very first time. That leaves around 30 minutes for other announcements. While much of this time will focus on games from third-party publishers and independent developers, PlayStation’s own studios are also expected to share some news.
Where Can I Watch the State of Play?
As always, PlayStation’s State of Play is going to be streamed on both Twitch and YouTube. Honestly, both platforms are usually pretty good for watching, but Twitch often gets the stream up and running a little bit faster. So, if I want to see all the PlayStation news *as* it’s happening, I usually head to Twitch first!
If you miss the State of Play live, don’t worry! We’ll have full coverage right here on ComicBook. We’re doing a live blog, so you can get all the major announcements as they’re revealed.
