Hunt the Night coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch in Q1 2026

DANGEN Entertainment and Moonlight Games have announced that their retro-inspired gothic fantasy action RPG, Hunt the Night, will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch in the first quarter of 2026.

Hunt the Night first launched for PC via Steam and GOG on April 13, 2023.

Story

Humanity is now in its ninth age. During the day, people thrive, but at night, terrifying creatures take over. Despite all their struggles, humanity is wiped out every time night falls.

A group known as ‘The Stalkers’ learned to harness dark powers to battle the creatures of the night. Despite their efforts, they couldn’t prevent humanity from repeatedly facing the threat of annihilation with each new day, a constant reminder that darkness brings the risk of extinction.

People discovered the ‘Seal of Night,’ a powerful artifact that ended the endless cycle of day and night, creating a world of perpetual daylight. They made a deal with The Stalkers, promising a blood oath in exchange for the sun’s continued reign, and for centuries, this brought a new era of hope. However, their triumph was short-lived, and they ultimately faced a terrible cost.

As night falls and darkness spreads, Vesper, a skilled hunter and the daughter of a betrayer, journeys across a blighted land. She’s on a desperate mission to preserve the last remnants of humankind, racing against time as both the world around her and her own inner demons grow stronger.
