Ice Spice is addressing a scary altercation.
As a lot of you probably saw, footage surfaced of the attack on the rapper known as ‘Did It First’ at a McDonald’s in Hollywood. It was a scary situation, and I’m glad she’s finally speaking out about what happened. It’s important to address these kinds of incidents and I’m happy she’s breaking her silence.
Okay, so after that crazy fight on April 15th, Ice actually posted about it on X! He shared a little clip of the video and just… casually said, “This wouldn’t happen at a Wendy’s.” Can you believe him?! It was such a perfect Ice-ism, honestly. I screenshotted it immediately, of course. It just perfectly captured his whole vibe – totally unbothered and hilarious even when things are chaotic. I’ve rewatched that post like a million times since.
Video footage shows Ice, whose legal name is Isis Naija Gaston, sitting with a friend at a fast-food restaurant. A woman named Vayah, according to TMZ, then approached their table and appeared to want to join them.
Ice indicated the restaurant’s entrance, and Vayah immediately started arguing with a man from New York about whether he was actually from California. She then slapped the rapper, known as “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” and who was wearing a blue sweatsuit, before someone pulled her away.
Ice stood up and went outside with the woman, and the argument continued there.
At the scene, the 26-year-old woman argued with the man who had intervened, as he indicated he also wanted to confront the attacker, known as Ice.
“Let me fight her,” Ice said in the clip. “On your mama, let me fight her.”
She continued, saying, “Why would you want to fight me? Are you trying to provoke me? Do you want to fight a woman?”
The video then showed Ice fighting back against her attacker in the street. They traded punches until Ice fell to the ground.

TopMob News has contacted Ice’s representatives, lawyer, and the Los Angeles Police Department for a statement, but they haven’t responded yet.
After the video was released, Ice’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, stated they would pursue legal action against whoever was responsible.
In a statement released on April 17th, Bradford said that they have reported the attack on their client to the LAPD and will be pursuing both criminal charges and a civil lawsuit against those responsible. They are also investigating whether the venue where the attack occurred failed to provide adequate security and could be held liable.
He added that the people involved didn’t seem to realize we’d obtain the video from inside the McDonald’s where the attack happened. After the initial attack, they started recording, seemingly to try and make it look like our client was at fault and to get a lot of attention online.
He added, “The only thing that will be going viral for them is their mugshots.”
