The popular show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is back for its 25th season this week, and it will feature some changes to the usual format.
ITV has announced a new rule for the show launching on November 16th: no single contestant will be forced to do multiple Bushtucker trials in a row.
Previously, viewers often chose Dean McCullough to face six consecutive trials, but a new rule change prevents this from happening again. Matt Hancock experienced the same thing when he was on the show last year.
I’m really glad ITV is making things fairer on the show! They’ve said that if a celebrity does two trials back-to-back, they won’t be put up for another one the very next day. It just means everyone gets a reasonable chance to face the challenges, which is great to see.

According to ITV, the producers of the show want to make sure everyone gets a fair chance at the Bushtucker Trials this year. To achieve this, they’ve introduced a new rule: if a celebrity does two trials consecutively, they won’t be eligible for one the following day.
“This new rule means the responsibility for winning food is shared among more of the campmates.
More contestants will get their moment to stand out and contribute, allowing viewers to learn more about who they are and what they’re capable of.
Once again, the public will decide which celebrities face the terrifying Bushtucker trials. However, it’s still unclear how the show will prevent the same stars from being chosen repeatedly.
This year’s group of celebrities on the show is really diverse, including well-known names like Ruby Wax, Lisa Riley, Jack Osbourne, and Martin Kemp.
The cast also features Kelly Brook, Eddie Kadi, Alex Scott, Morgan Burtwistle (known as Angry Ginge), Aitch, and Shona McGarty.
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns on Sunday 16th November on ITV1 and ITVX.
