I’m a Celebrity 2025 launch overnight ratings revealed – but does it top Celebrity Traitors?

The latest episode of ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’ was full of action and attracted a large audience.

ITV has announced that the latest episode of the entertainment series drew 7.3 million viewers at its peak on Sunday night (November 16th). The show averaged 6.6 million viewers throughout its 90-minute runtime.

This was ITV’s most-watched program of 2025 so far, and the biggest launch of any entertainment show on any channel this year.

The Celebrity Traitors had a strong start this fall, attracting 6.1 million viewers for its first episode. That number quickly jumped to an impressive 11.7 million, making it the most-watched unscripted program in the UK since 2022.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! was a hit with young adults, attracting 83% of viewers aged 16-34 – that’s 1.5 million people in that age group. This is a 9% increase compared to last year.

These figures make it ITV’s biggest 16-34 audience in over a year, since the Euros in 2024.

The exact launch date for ITVX hasn’t been announced yet, but last year’s season of I’m a Celebrity was a huge success on the platform, racking up over 80 million views throughout the series.

This year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity’ contestants are a diverse group, including well-known faces like Ruby Wax, Kelly Brook, Jack Osbourne, and Martin Kemp, all braving the jungle.

This evening, the celebrities woke up to their first full day in camp, and it seems one of them had a surprise visitor overnight.

Eddie Kadi started his day feeling refreshed and happy after getting a good night’s sleep in the comfortable camp bed, as ITV previewed.

When Eddie started telling Ruby and me about his amazing sleep, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. Honestly, it was exactly what you’d expect from him – complaining even when he’s living the dream! I just said, “Of course you did! You’re in paradise up there!” It was a little playful teasing, but I meant it – he really was lucky to be where he was.

Pointing to her own bed, she remarked: “Look at this! There’s not even a blanket in here.”

Little did Eddie know a rat crawled across him while he slept!
