Modern video games are demanding so much storage space that even the Xbox Series X|S, with its 1TB hard drive, can’t hold them all.
Good news for anyone needing more storage! Seagate’s Storage Expansion Cards are currently on sale at Amazon for their lowest prices in over a month. You can get a 1TB card for $119.99, a 2TB card for $199.99, and a 4TB card for $379.99.
No more will I have to worry about running out of space when downloading all my Xbox games.

The Seagate Storage Expansion Cards for Xbox are quite pricey. They cost $160 for 1TB, $260 for 2TB, and a significant $500 for 4TB.
Despite the regular price, we still consider them some of the best Xbox accessories on the market.
Our review of the Seagate Storage Expansion Cards gave it a strong 4 out of 5 stars. As my colleague Matt Brown previously noted, this card is the best way to easily expand storage on newer Xbox consoles, bypassing the usual drawbacks of using USB drives. Though it’s a pricey purchase, those who invest in it will likely be very happy with the extra storage it provides.
I can confidently recommend this card because I own one and it’s greatly expanded the storage for my Xbox Series X|S. It allows me to play large games – like Monster Hunter World, Final Fantasy XVI, and WWE 2K25, along with their downloadable content – without constantly having to delete other games to make space.
These SSD cards are great because you can play Xbox games right from them, without needing to copy them to the console’s built-in storage – a big time-saver compared to using regular external drives and all the file moving that requires.
If you need more storage for your Xbox and want something simple to use with plenty of space, the Seagate Storage Expansion Cards are a great choice. Right now, Amazon has excellent Black Friday deals: the 1TB card is $119.99, the 2TB is $199.99, and the 4TB is $379.99.
