The influencer community is grieving a tragic loss.
It is with sadness that we report the passing of Chase Filandro, a content creator from New York City, who frequently posted his humor pieces and book critiques. His family confirmed that he took his own life at the age of 20.
Chase, our cherished family member, left us unexpectedly and we are deeply grieving,” Francesca Ford expressed on Instagram on August 5th. “It was Chase’s choice to ascend to heaven. His radiant spirit will live on forever in the hearts of everyone he touched during his extraordinary life, albeit much too fleeting.
His sister continued by reflecting on the beauty that Chase put into the world.
Statement suggests that Chase was exceptionally creative in many areas; he was not only an artist but also a singer, musician, actor, teacher, poet, and painter. His vibrant character and passion for living left an impact on all those he met, whether face-to-face or through digital connections.
Francesca commented, “Chase’s presence brought joy, originality, and motivation to numerous individuals. Though our hearts break over this immense sorrow, we take solace in understanding that his artistic imprint and the affection he spread won’t fade away.
Chase’s sister also reflected on his passion for the outdoors.
Francesca noted that those who knew Chase appreciated his profound affection for both art and nature. His infectious enthusiasm and sincere warmth forged strong, enduring relationships wherever he went.
She stated, ‘At this immensely challenging period, filled with sorrow and joyous remembrance, we request seclusion to honor the radiant life that Chase led.’
Due to Chase’s deep affection for nature, it was decided that his family would construct memorials dedicated to him at two distinct National Parks.
As a passionate wanderlust, I found solace and inspiration in the breathtaking landscapes of our National Parks. Whenever I encountered new faces, I greeted them warmly, fostering friendships wherever my travels took me on those winding trails. This is the essence we wish to convey through the GoFundMe page we’ve set up to honor my memory and legacy.
Not long afterward, the family amended their post to express their “deeply moved” feelings due to the outpouring of support.
A big thank you for assisting us in achieving our goal within just 13 hours! It’s clear that Chase made a significant difference. We’re currently working on increasing our funds to construct another memorial in New York, closer to where we live. Once again, thank you all.
