Laura Mellado is sharing an unimaginable loss.
The influencer and her husband, Victor Hallman, shared the heartbreaking news of their baby girl’s death late in the pregnancy. This loss comes just over a year after the influencer experienced a miscarriage in May 2025.
The couple announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram on June 7th, sharing a photo of themselves with the newborn in the hospital. They expressed their grief, stating that while they don’t understand why this happened, they are grateful for the strength and peace they’ve found during this difficult time, referring to God as their source of comfort.
We were so blessed to have even a short time with our baby girl, and we cherished every moment. We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our friends and family, and especially thankful to the amazing medical team who allowed us to hold her, dance with her, and spend as much time with her as we needed. Those precious moments will stay with us forever.
Mellado and Hallman shared a sweet message for their daughter, telling her and their three sons—Elliot, 10, Oakley, 5, and Luciano, 2—how much they love her and how excited they are to see her again.
They shared, “You’ve made heaven even more beautiful.” The past few days have profoundly changed us, in ways we never expected. We feel her presence everywhere and are so grateful for the continued signs she sends us.
The couple ended their message with a quote about grief.
The message said that grief can make you gentler and more present. It helps you appreciate the small things in life, slow down, and truly value how precious and delicate life is. Even amidst the pain, love endures – it just exists differently now, connecting you in a new way.
Mellado and Hallman finished their post with a Bible verse and the phrase, “God we trust your plans.”
The couple, who got married in 2023, announced they were expecting a baby in January. In a heartfelt Instagram post, they described the baby as their ‘rainbow baby’ and expressed their gratitude, saying they couldn’t wait to meet their little one in June 2026.

Mellado has often been open about the challenges she’s faced, including a miscarriage she experienced in May 2025 at about 14 weeks, which she talked about in a TikTok video in August.
Mellado recently began sharing something personal, but finds it difficult. She explained that it’s a topic many avoid discussing, so when asked about her children, she tells people she has four, knowing one is always ‘watching over them.’
