Kim Kardashian is getting ever closer to becoming a lawyer in real life.
However, she currently stars in a TV show called All’s Fair, created by Ryan Murphy, and the part was specifically written with her in mind.
Murphy explained at the premiere of the Hulu show on October 16th, according to The Hollywood Reporter, that he was fascinated by Kim because she lives such a full life and has a large, loving family. He was surprised she agreed to participate in the project, but she told him it was because it was ‘iconic and I like iconic stuff,’ which he felt was perfectly Kim.
In a nutshell.
Turning 45 on October 21st, Kim remains a major cultural figure. She’s been making headlines with bold fashion choices, like a full face mask at a recent gala, and continues to successfully promote her SKIMS brand with a playfully edgy approach.
Kim Kardashian is increasingly focused on family life as she and Kanye West work together to raise their four children: North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6.
Kim explained on the October 15th episode of Call Her Daddy that when someone experiences a mental health crisis, it’s important to be very supportive and help them understand what’s happening, offering your full support throughout the process.
She had hoped to resolve her issues before filing for divorce in February 2021, but explained to host Alex Cooper that staying in a harmful relationship was too difficult. She added that having children makes it even harder to leave, as it impacts everyone involved for the rest of their lives.
Kim explained that even when people close to her realized she was struggling, she felt disconnected and spent a lot of time withdrawn and trying to understand what was happening.
She eventually followed through, and although it led to their separation, Kim believes that a relationship lasting over ten years and resulting in four wonderful children is not something to be considered a failure.
Kim admitted that coparenting with Kanye is difficult, especially since he has previously claimed she limits his access to their children.
Honestly, I’ve been following this whole situation, and what she said on the podcast just gets me. She basically explained that whenever he asks to see his kids, she always lets them go. Like, no matter what, she’s not going to keep them from their dad. She said it’s just part of who she is, and I totally get it! It’s amazing, honestly. She’s putting the kids first, and that’s all that matters!
She explained that when he’s struggling, he tends to withdraw from spending time with the children. However, even with his frequent travels, they still manage to connect and make things work.
She explained that she sends her children to various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Japan. She confirmed she always allows them to go when asked, and pushed back against the idea that she keeps them from their father, saying that portrayal is unfair and she doesn’t feel the need to publicly defend herself against it.
It makes sense she drew on her own experiences and consulted with divorce lawyer Laura Wasser while preparing for her role in All’s Fair.
Kim shared with TopMob News’ Erin Lim Rhodes at the show’s premiere on October 17th that she sought advice from Laura. She explained it was crucial to have someone inspiring to look up to and emulate, and that Laura, a strong woman who supports other women, fit that role perfectly.
Which also happens to be how Kim’s costars view her.
Sarah Paulson shared with TopMob that Kim was incredibly busy while filming – she was preparing for the bar exam, managing her business, filming her reality show, and taking care of her children, all while memorizing her lines perfectly.
Naomi Watts was praised for being a diligent and quick learner. Sources noted her dedication, focus, punctuality, and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
But The Kardashians star was also soaking up all she could from the award-winning actors in her midst.
She told TopMob she really enjoyed working with these women. She was impressed by their dedication and work ethic, learning a lot just from watching them on set each day. She believes they’re the best in the business, and that experience was a valuable lesson for her.
Having recently finished law school and taken the California bar exam (with results still pending), she’s now embracing being single and enjoying this new chapter in her life.
She explained on the Call Her Daddy podcast that her children are her priority right now. She’s very busy with raising them and wants to be fully present in their lives. Because of that, she doesn’t have time for a relationship and isn’t actively looking. If she were to meet someone, they’d have to be truly exceptional.
Kim added, “I’ve had all my fun, I’ve had all my phases. Now I just have to be with my babies.”
While we suspect there are more phases to come, see photos of Kim from all her eras so far:
