Interview with the Vampire season 3 just released a rocking new trailer.
The trailer for season 3, called The Vampire Lestat, reveals that a new era for Lestat is beginning, and the season will be released this summer. This season of the Immortal Universe series is based on Anne Rice’s novel, The Vampire Lestat, which continues the story from Interview with the Vampire. In the new season, Lestat starts a career as a rock star and decides to share his life story as a vampire with the world. This comes after he and Louis reconciled at the end of season 2 of Interview with the Vampire.
AMC has just dropped a new trailer for season 3 of Interview with the Vampire, and it shows Lestat pursuing a career as a musician. We see him performing on stage, accompanied by a cover of Billy Idol’s “Dancing with Myself,” which star Sam Reid performs himself. The trailer focuses on Lestat’s ambition to become famous, but also hints that he’s determined to share his own version of vampire history – a different story than the one Louis told Daniel before. The trailer ends with a shot of Lestat flying over a crowd, and confirms the season will premiere on Sunday, June 7th.

Along with the new trailer, AMC and Lakeshore Records have released two songs performed by Sam Reid as Lestat for the upcoming third season of Interview with the Vampire: “Long Face” and “All Fall Down.” These songs, composed by Daniel Hart, are available now on all major streaming services and will appear in the show. More music will be released as the season unfolds. The trailer highlights that Lestat’s life as a rock star and his band’s dynamics will be a key part of the new season’s storyline.
Season 3 of Interview with the Vampire will star Jacob Anderson as Louis, Assad Zaman as Armand, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, Delainey Hayles as Claudia, and Jennifer Ehle as Lestat’s mother, Gabriella. The new trailer reveals the season will continue to jump between past and present storylines, delving further into Lestat’s history during the French Revolution and his bold, potentially risky choice to reveal his vampire identity to the world.
