He feels American comics can achieve the same kind of growth by following a comics-to-animation model.

Kirkman highlighted the success of the animated Invincible series and its impact on the industry. He explained that because the show closely follows the comic book, it’s been very popular, leading streaming services to invest heavily in adult animation. The release date for Invincible season five is still unknown, but creator Robert Kirkman has suggested it might come out in 2027.
