A recent rumor about the fighting game Invincible VS suggests we now know when new characters will be released. Last week, a large leak hinted at a long list of fighters planned for the game in 2026 and beyond. Although the developer, Quarter Up, hasn’t officially confirmed the leak’s accuracy, new information is appearing that seems to support it.
A new leak suggests that Angstrom Levy and Agent Spider will be the last two characters added to Invincible VS as downloadable content this year. They’ll join Universa and The Immortal, who Skybound Games has already confirmed will be released this summer. Angstrom Levy is expected to become playable in the fall, and Agent Spider will complete the Year 1 DLC lineup with his release in winter.
If the recent information is correct, the game Invincible VS is planned to receive five additional playable characters throughout 2027. The leak suggests these will be Damien Darkblood, Oliver Grayson, Dinosaurus, the Mauler Twins, and Volcanikka. While the release order isn’t known, the fact that these characters were found in the game’s data strongly suggests they will be added eventually.
Beyond adding new playable characters through downloadable content, Quarter Up is committed to enhancing Invincible VS with free updates. They recently released a first update to address some initial issues with certain fighters. A more substantial update to balance the game is planned for the coming weeks, and it’s expected to significantly change how the game is played.
