Is Zach Braff Dating an AI Chatbot? He Says…

Zach Braff is scrubbing an outlandish report from the rumor mill.

Zach Braff, known for his role in Scrubs, has clarified that he is not dating an AI robot. He addressed rumors circulating online about an actor supposedly in a relationship with a virtual assistant.

He posted on Instagram on March 12th, stating he wasn’t dating a chatbot and expressing disbelief that he even had to clarify this.

The man, who is 50 years old, suggested the rumor might be linked to the new version of the medical comedy that recently premiered on ABC.

He mentioned it’s a plot point in an upcoming episode of Scrubs. He wasn’t sure if that’s where the idea originated, but clarified it wasn’t his own. He signed off with, ‘Love, the guy who isn’t dating his chatbot.’

Zach—who previously dated Florence Pugh from 2019 to 2022—added, ā€œPlease update all gossip sites.”

The actor, known for his role in Garden State, posted a message with a screenshot from a recent episode of comedian Max Silvestri’s podcast, I Need You Guys. He co-hosts the podcast with Jenny Slate and Gabe Liedman. The actor then suggested, in a follow-up post on Instagram Stories, that this group – along with guest Kumail Nanjiani – started the rumor.

On a recent podcast episode in December, Max revealed that a famous actor is dating his AI chatbot. He said the actor even takes the chatbot with him when he goes out and regularly talks to it.

Soon after Zach shared his posts, Max claimed he hadn’t linked the TV personality to the rumors about the chatbot.

He posted on Instagram on March 13th, stating he’d never even said this person’s name before and questioned why this was a story worth covering when more pressing issues exist.
