The sixth season of Grace ended with a shocking cliffhanger – Cleo was kidnapped right from her wedding to Roy – leaving viewers wondering what would happen next. Now, the show has been renewed, so fans will find out!
The popular crime drama Grace is coming back for a seventh season with four new episodes. The main cast – John Simm, Richie Campbell, Zoë Tapper, Laura Elphinstone, and Brad Morrison – will all be returning as their characters Roy Grace, Glenn Branson, Cleo Morey, Bella Moy, and Nick Nicholl.
The four episodes of Season 7 aren’t directly adapted from Peter James’s Roy Grace novels, but rather inspired by the characters within them. The series has consistently taken liberties with the original storylines, a change approved by the author himself.
I’ve gotten a sneak peek at a couple of the upcoming episode titles, and they’re deliciously dark! We’re getting “When You Are Dead” and “Picture You Dead” – a nice nod to one of James’s books with the latter, but the first one seems entirely fresh. The rest of the episode titles are still under wraps, but trust me, they’ll announce them soon enough.

When the show’s renewal was announced, Simm shared in a statement that he wouldn’t have believed it if someone had told him at the beginning, during the initial lockdown filming, that they’d be continuing for seven seasons.
