Love may not have been blind for Iyanna McNeely, but it sure is real.
Mallory Zapata, who previously appeared on Love is Blind and divorced her season two costar Jarrette Jones in November 2022, married corporate attorney Alexander Lewis in a sophisticated Chicago wedding on January 17th.
Iyanna, 31, explained to People magazine that their meeting place was significant not just because that’s where they first connected, but because it was a place where they had both already built independent lives.
The couple wanted their winter wedding to feel magical and cozy, like being inside a snow globe.
To prevent feeling overwhelmed, the couple—who connected on a dating app in 2023 and got engaged the following December—chose to have their wedding celebrations over two days. They held a traditional ceremony at the Union League Club one day, and the reception at Salon 61 the next.
Iyanna explained that they spread their wedding celebrations over two days. The first day was intimate, just for immediate family and close friends. The second day was a bigger party with extended family and a wider circle of friends. They did this intentionally, hoping to avoid the typical wedding exhaustion and enjoy a more relaxed first day before really celebrating on the second.
She added, “It felt like endless open tabs and a never-ending to-do list.”
The bride walked down the aisle in a beautiful ballgown by Eden Aharon, with a fitted corset top.

She explained she wanted a dress that was delicate, alluring, and sophisticated. Describing the gown, she said it was very glamorous, featuring a long train that felt like a true reflection of her personality and her astrological Leo moon sign.
Meanwhile, Alex wore a dapper navy suit.
Thinking back on our weekend together, I realized it wasn’t exactly the perfect fairytale I’d imagined, but it felt like the start of something incredible. She said it best – living our lives together is the real dream, and that’s what truly matters.
She said she was really looking forward to seeing how our relationship would grow. She believes we’ll both change a lot as we go through life’s ups and downs, and that will only make our connection stronger over time.

Ultimately, Anton’s lifestyle and money problems weren’t a good fit for what Ali wanted.
She told the truck driver, right at the altar, that she couldn’t marry him. She explained that the man she’d connected with while they were only talking wasn’t the same person she’d gotten to know after meeting in person.
So, she listened to her intuition.
She explained to the cameras that the experience didn’t meet her expectations and didn’t feel genuine. She also felt he hadn’t been completely honest about his life.
Anton admitted he wasn’t sure what went wrong – whether it was a matter of appearances, the overall feeling between them, or simply how they lived their lives. However, he insisted he always cared for her deeply.

Despite connecting over shared experiences with family members who have Type 1 diabetes, Megan and her fiancé had very different lifestyles – he favored simplicity, while she enjoyed luxury. This ultimately led Megan to end their engagement, as revealed in the season nine finale.
“It’s like we’re just passing each other without really connecting,” the entrepreneur explained. But Jordan didn’t understand the comparison, saying, “I don’t get it.”
After Megan mentioned Jordan’s fussiness with food and difficult availability for trips, he responded by questioning why she had chosen him as a match in the pods.
She admitted she’d initially thought their differences might work, but she still had doubts. “Looking back now, I realize I never wanted to get married and risk putting either of us through that,” she said, and both of them started to cry.
Jordan admitted his biggest regret was letting his son, Luca, meet her. He explained in a private interview that he believes she doesn’t love him for who he is, and that realization is what he needs to move on.
Megan shared that the difficult experience made her doubt her abilities as a mother, wondering if she was too focused on her own needs.

At their wedding, both Kalybriah and Edmond expressed strong feelings for each other, saying they loved each other very much. However, Kalybriah ultimately rejected Edmond’s proposal and apologized.
She told the realtor she needed someone who was fully committed, and admitted she wasn’t in that place herself at the moment. However, she quickly added that saying no didn’t mean she didn’t care for him.
Edmond became upset and started crying, but Kalybriah thanked him for handling the situation with dignity as she explained her difficult decision. When he asked if they might date sometime in the future, Kalybriah reassured him that she wasn’t ruling it out.
“I am shocked,” he said in a confessional of her decision. “There was no bright side.”

Joe and his partner didn’t get married on season nine because Joe ended things after an emotional breakdown while trying on his tuxedo.
Madison later shared with Glamour that Joe presented two distinct sides of himself. When the cameras weren’t rolling, he was comforting and affectionate, often physically close to people. But on camera, he acted very differently, and you can actually see this contrast during the pool party scene.
Madison directly asked Joe if he was attracted to her, and he admitted it had been a problem while they were on vacation.
She explained that she asked him what kind of women he usually dated, and he said he preferred ‘more petite women.’ Despite generally being confident, she admitted this comment briefly made her feel insecure.
Joe explained that he was awkwardly trying to describe a recurring issue in his dating history, and didn’t intend to compare or judge anyone.

Nick broke up with Annie right before their wedding, telling her he felt upset that she always claimed to love him more than he loved her.
Despite being told it was finished, the hairstylist didn’t accept it and pleaded with Nick to stay with her, saying, “Just stay with me and love me.”
“You can’t make one plus one equal three,” he said, prompting her to say, “Watch me.”
Nick eventually explained to Annie that he didn’t want to marry her because he was unhappy.

Dave and Lauren’s relationship didn’t work out after they arrived in Honduras. While they discovered they had friends in common, that wasn’t the main issue. Dave struggled to move past learning that Lauren had previously been with someone they both knew before filming the show.
Plus, Dave hadn’t wanted to introduce Lauren to his friends or family. He hadn’t even told his dad about their engagement, and his sister, who would later cause problems, completely disapproved of the relationship.

Many viewers thought Monica and Joey were a perfect match and would get married. But when it came time for their wedding, Monica unexpectedly called it off.
She said, tears welling up, that she was completely committed to the situation, but felt they both still had a ways to go. Joey wholeheartedly agreed.
He hugged her and reassured her, “It’s alright.” He continued, saying they clearly care for each other deeply, but that they both need to focus on personal growth right now. He admitted he wasn’t ready for a relationship and wasn’t fully prepared emotionally at the moment.

Despite having significant differences in beliefs and values – like religion and politics – Ben and Sara appeared to be in agreement as their wedding day approached. However, they ultimately decided to call off their relationship.
Sara, who previously told me she didn’t see a future with Ben, explained to him, “Ben, I love you very much, but I’ve always wanted a partner I truly connect with. Because of that, I can’t continue this relationship. I’m sorry if that’s hard to hear, but I want to be clear about my feelings.”
She explained that while she deeply cares for him, their core beliefs are too different for a relationship to work. Although it was a difficult decision, she realized they weren’t compatible in the long run.

Devin and Virginia appeared to be a happy couple, looking forward to their future together after leaving the pods. However, their relationship hit a snag when they started discussing a prenuptial agreement.
Ultimately, more significant problems led Virginia to end her relationship with Devin and decide against spending her life with him.
Fighting back tears after leaving the altar, she explained that she often felt the need to shield Devin throughout their relationship. She wasn’t sure if it was due to her upbringing, but protecting him was always a priority. This meant avoiding certain sensitive subjects, like politics, and respecting his boundaries, even if it meant they didn’t fully explore all aspects of their connection. Ultimately, she felt they hadn’t reached a deeper level of understanding because of this.

In the end, Daniel and Taylor were the happy couple who decided to commit to a lifetime of love, promising to stay together long after the holiday season was over.
Despite a rocky start – Taylor believed Daniel had briefly unfollowed her on Instagram, suggesting he’d seen her profile picture – they were able to move past the issue.
After sharing heartfelt vows, the couple had a lovely wedding and a joyful reception.
“We did it!” Daniel exclaimed, sitting with Taylor after their wedding. Taylor added, beaming, “We can’t wait to start our life together.”

Soon after appearing on a Netflix dating show, Brittany started dating musician Mod Sun in November 2024. However, she announced their breakup in July 2025.

Since then, Hannah has admitted the show forced her to do some self-introspection.
She recently shared that she’s been reflecting on her communication style. Speaking on the The Viall Files podcast, she admitted she can be very direct, but realizes her approach sometimes comes across as harsh. She’s come to understand that how you say something is just as important as what you say.

Taylor and Garrett immediately connected, feeling like a perfect match—even their tattoos seemed to align! They quickly fell in love and appeared destined for marriage. They did face a challenge when Taylor discovered Garrett had responded to a message from a former girlfriend, but Garrett claims he quickly clarified his engagement and ended the conversation. After that, their relationship became a beloved story from Love Is Blind.
The pair were still married at the Love Is Blind reunion in October 2024.

You’re not mistaken – despite being a strong couple and early favorites to succeed, Ramses ended the wedding plans after reconsidering things.
After a heartfelt conversation, Marissa told her fiancé, “I see a wonderful future with you, and I want to marry you.” He replied, simply, “I know falling in love always carries a risk, and I accept that.”
He pointed out that their disagreements—like their different views on the military—might be too significant to overcome. He explained that, having observed his own marriage and others, he believes love isn’t always enough for a successful relationship. Other important factors need to be in place as well.
Marissa tried to stay strong, but once she realized the relationship was truly over, she started crying. She told him, “I wish you hadn’t come here,” expressing her confusion and hurt. “I was so certain about us, and you weren’t? It’s awful. I really wanted you to pick me.” She also said that this was the worst day of her life.

But things became complicated when Tyler revealed he had three children, a revelation Ashley bluntly called his “sperm donor babies.” Online, people are debating the extent of Tyler’s relationship with his children, but he hasn’t publicly commented on the discussion.
By the October 2024 reunion show, Ashley and Tyler had resolved their differences, reconnected, and ultimately got married.

Jimmy ended his engagement with Chelsea, leaving her shocked and in tears, as he was ready to move on from their turbulent relationship.
Jimmy confessed to Chelsea during their date, ‘I’m deeply in love with you and really want a relationship, but I absolutely don’t want to get married. It’s just not something I can do.’
He said they were simplifying a complex situation, which stemmed from five or six deeply upsetting issues. One of those issues was Chelsea sharing a private secret about Jimmy’s past relationship with a friend.
After one last argument about their past relationships, Chelsea finally left, crying and saying, “I really thought we had a chance.”
The pair were both single during the March 2024 reunion.

Clay was worried about getting married because of his father’s past, but AD comforted him, promising they could overcome any challenges together, and things seemed good between them.
Let’s talk about relationships and being honest with yourself. I’ve seen it happen – someone gets down on one knee, and suddenly, the person being proposed to realizes ‘forever’ isn’t in the cards right now. That’s exactly what happened with Clay. When it came down to actually saying ‘I do,’ he realized he wasn’t ready for marriage. He told AD magazine it just wouldn’t be responsible of him to commit when he wasn’t truly prepared, and honestly, I applaud that level of self-awareness. It takes courage to admit that, even in a situation like that.
Cue the shock.
He told AD he would do the necessary work to figure things out, and they would face it together. He admitted he wasn’t ready for marriage, and that she deserved someone who was. He explained he wouldn’t commit to marriage until he felt fully prepared, and he couldn’t give her an answer right now.
The discovery caused AD to break down in tears, angrily stating that the relationship had been a complete waste of her time.
Clay explained that both financial and emotional connections were major factors in his decision to leave. He confessed, “I had to ask myself if I was still a husband, and the truth was no. I also realized I wasn’t truly in love anymore.”
It was so interesting at the reunion! Clay finally admitted he regretted things with AD and really wants to give us a chance. But AD? She’s playing it cool, and I honestly have no idea if she’s even considering getting back together with him. It’s frustrating, but also… exciting to watch!
AD admitted she went on a few dates with her coworker, Matthew Duliba, after they finished filming, but they are no longer dating.
She announced in May 2025 she’s expecting her first baby with fiancé Ollie Sutherland.

Amy and Johnny were the only couple from season six to get married, and their wedding was beautiful! They also blended their families together wonderfully, with Amy’s father sharing that he now feels like he has several daughters.
As for Johnny, he too declared at his reception that his father-in-law was his “new dad.”
They are still married.

Brittany and Kenneth’s relationship began passionately, but it didn’t last after they faced the challenges of everyday life.
Brittany explained to Life & Style that things changed after they left the pods and returned to Charlotte. She felt they had a very strong connection while isolated, but that passion faded once they were back in the real world.
Brittany and her ex-fiancé are still friends. At a recent get-together, she explained that even though their romantic relationship ended, they’ll always share a strong connection.

At the March 2024 reunion, Jeramey shared that he and Sarah Ann had been casually dating for about a year after the show finished filming, but they are no longer together.
Laura is dating someone else, who she did not identify at the reunion.

Despite overcoming challenges like Izzy’s initial connection with Johnie Maraist and Stacy’s preferences for a certain lifestyle—she didn’t want to use paper plates—Stacy ultimately decided not to marry Izzy because he wasn’t truthful about his financial history.
Even though their wedding didn’t happen, Stacy still wanted to stay with Izzy, who was understandably heartbroken.
“We’re at different spots,” he told her. “It really breaks my heart.”
Stacy appreciated Izzy helping her become more open with her feelings, but she wasn’t sure about a long-term future together. She said she needed to be completely certain before committing to a lifetime with someone, and she wasn’t there yet.
Izzy is now dating surgical assistant Shelby Webb.

The only bright spot of season five dimmed when Lydia revealed on an interview with fellow cast member AD Smith’s podcast, What’s the Reality, in June 2025 that she was divorcing Milton after less than three years of marriage.
It wasn’t a single event that led to this,” she explained. “It was a build-up of problems, one after another. When I told him I’d send the divorce papers when they were finalized, he said he wouldn’t sign them without a non-disclosure agreement.
She explained that she decided to go public with the news because she’d been holding it in for too long. She felt it was important to share what she’d been going through, as staying silent had become overwhelming.
Lydia stated that while they were married, other women accused her husband, Milton, 26, of flirting excessively and buying them drinks at bars. Milton reportedly denied the accusations and instead questioned why Lydia would even consider the rumors to be true.

Throughout the season, Paul and Micah seemed drawn to each other despite their differences. However, at the final commitment ceremony, Paul ultimately decided not to get married, and he revealed this after Micah asked him to go first.
“I feel terrible,” Micah admitted. “If Paul had proposed, I definitely would have accepted.”
At the reunion, Paul apologized for a hurtful comment he made privately about Micah, where he said he couldn’t picture her as a mother.
Paul admitted he hadn’t been fair to her when he spoke earlier. He clarified that his real concern is he doesn’t envision them having children together.
I was so excited when I heard Paul and Micah seemed to be getting back together after filming! Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. From what Paul shared, they officially split for good when he went to visit Micah in Arizona. It really broke my heart, but it sounds like they both needed to move on.
On the show After the Altar, Paul shared that he was seeing someone new—a woman who loves to travel and appreciates his cooking. He later publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram with Geneva Dunham, who works as an eyelash technician.

Even though Kwame’s mother didn’t come to the wedding and he had some questionable conversations with Micah – someone he also met while dating – Kwame and Chelsea were still one of the three couples who got married at the end of the fourth season.
At the reunion, Chelsea shared that she’d finally met her husband’s mother. Kwame also apologized to his wife and her family for how he’d acted, explaining that his conversations with Micah hadn’t been his best moment.
The couple is living in Seattle with their beloved dog Rocky.

Everyone says love is blind, but sometimes it takes a while – or even getting engaged to someone else – to realize you’ve made a mistake. That’s what happened to Zack, who initially proposed to Irina Solomonova, but they ended up breaking up while on vacation in Mexico.
Despite initial challenges and objections from Bliss’s father, the couple reconciled and got married. They happily shared their first dance as husband and wife to Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance” – the song that had brought them together during their time in the pods.
Following the final episode, Zack posted a picture of him and his partner on Instagram, writing “Eternal Bliss” in the caption.
The couple announced in November 2023 that they were expecting a baby, and in April 2024, they welcomed their daughter, Galileo Terri Rayne Goytowski.

Since filming wrapped, Tiffany and Brett moved to Portland and are still perfect! Phew!

After SK said “I don’t” at their wedding, he and Raven seemingly parted ways.

In a joint statement posted on social media in November, SK and Raven explained they couldn’t share further details due to ongoing legal issues, and asked for privacy during this difficult time. They thanked their followers for supporting their relationship.

Viewers were upset when Jackie decided to reconnect with Josh Demas, the man she had a connection with in the pods, before breaking up with her fiancé, Marshall.
During the reunion, Jackie clarified what happened with her relationships. She explained, “I ended things with Marshall before I met Josh at the coffee shop. It might seem like I was unfaithful, but I wasn’t.”
Jackie explained that she takes responsibility for her part in the breakup with Marshall, stating simply, “We just weren’t a good match.”
Okay, so about Jackie and Josh… things seemed good, you know? They were still together, living together even, during that After the Altar stuff. But then, she did an Instagram Live in September 2023 and just… dropped the bomb that they’d broken up. I was shocked, honestly! I thought they were endgame.
Marshall shared with TopMob that he and fellow contestant Kacia Clark connected briefly after the show ended. However, he explained, “I just needed to create some space between myself and that whole experience,” so things didn’t work out.
I was so thrilled to hear that Marshall and Dr. Chay Barnes are engaged! They’ve actually been dating for a whole year now, and he shared on After the Altar that he wants to be with her forever. They got engaged back in December 2023, and I couldn’t be happier for them both!
