Jamie Lynn Spears Shares Photos From Daughter Maddie’s Senior Prom

Jamie Lynn Spears is getting emotional about a major motherhood milestone.

Jamie Lynn Spears, known for her role on Zoey 101, posted pictures of her daughter, Maddie Watson, going to her senior prom. She shared that she was feeling very emotional about the milestone.

The 34-year-old wrote on Instagram on March 9th, jokingly captioning a photo ‘SENIOR PROM,’ and adding, ‘I’m okay, definitely not crying!’

Photos show Maddie, 17, wearing a beautiful, long white dress and carrying a bouquet with pink ribbons. She was pictured with her sister Ivey Watson, 7, her husband Jamie Watson, and friends, as well as her prom date, who wore a white suit with a pink tie.

During the celebrations, Jamie Lynn playfully acknowledged her tendency to get emotional. She shared a photo of herself crying from her 2023 appearance on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, referencing the fact that she became a mom to Maddie (with ex Casey Aldridge) back in 2008.

Last month, the actress from Sweet Magnolias shared a poignant reflection on a difficult anniversary – nine years since her daughter’s frightening ATV accident in 2017.

In a February Instagram post, she expressed deep gratitude for the positive outcome, acknowledging how easily things could have gone differently. She thanked all the first responders, medical staff, friends, family, and everyone who offered prayers, and especially thanked God.

Maddie, who got an ATV for Christmas in December, recently spoke publicly for the first time about the serious incident she was involved in.

In a YouTube video posted in August, she shared that she had been in a coma but had recovered, expressing her gratitude for being healed.
