Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce are reaching new heights of influence. 

NFL players Jason and Travis Kelce are expanding their popular podcast segment, “No Dumb Questions,” into a book of the same name. No Dumb Questions: And All of Our Dumbest Answers will be released on June 2nd and is based on the well-loved part of their New Heights podcast.

In a statement released on January 14th, Jason, 38, and Travis, 36, expressed their excitement about becoming published authors. They said that when they began the ‘No Dumb Questions’ segment on their New Heights show, they never imagined it would turn into a book people could have in their homes.

The brothers really enjoyed creating the book, which will collect questions their audience has sent them over time.

We’re really happy the 92%ers are getting some extra content from the podcast, even bits that were too silly to actually include in the episodes.

Okay, so I’m hearing that a couple of fun questions are definitely making it into that special collector’s edition! Apparently, they’re including the results to the debate of whether you pour the cereal or the milk in first, and also what kids’ movie or TV team everyone would want to be on. It’s all about those little everyday preferences and nostalgic favorites, which I just love!

The new release will feature fan-favorite advice from Jason and Travis’ podcast, which started in 2022, along with fresh, previously unpublished questions and answers. It will also include illustrations, photos, and other exclusive content.

This isn’t the first time the New Heights show has captured public attention, though it’s the first time a segment has been featured outside of Jason and Kelce’s podcast. Over the past year, the podcast has hosted a range of popular guests, from George Clooney to Caitlin Clark, sparking discussions across culture.

The podcast New Heights is well-known for playing a role in how Travis Kelce met his now-fiancée, Taylor Swift. In 2023, Travis revealed he attended her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City and was disappointed he didn’t get a chance to meet her and introduce himself.

Taylor even appeared as a guest on the podcast in August, playfully admitting she felt indebted to it.

Taylor Swift revealed in her December documentary about the Eras Tour that her most significant relationship began after the man she was interested in expressed his disappointment that she hadn’t wanted to meet him. She called it ‘the greatest surprise of my life.’

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce first connected in July 2023 when Swift’s Eras Tour came to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Being a big fan of Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his jersey number on it at the concert. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to get it to her because she was busy preparing for the show.

Okay, so I was totally bummed! Apparently, Taylor doesn’t chat with fans before or after her shows – can you believe it?! – because she’s saving her voice for all 44 songs she performs each night. I mean, 44 songs! It’s amazing, but still… it meant I didn’t even get to give her one of the friendship bracelets I spent ages making! I was a little upset, honestly. I just wanted to give her something!

After jokingly talking about dropping the football – something he’d later call incredibly cool – Travis decided to take a chance and invited the famous singer to come watch the Chiefs play at their home stadium, Arrowhead.

He explained on The Pat McAfee Show that he challenged Taylor Swift, saying he’d noticed her performing at Arrowhead Stadium and suggested she come see him perform there too, to see who gives a better show. He added that fans might find out what happens soon.

Travis had grown a mustache, first showing it off in August during football training camp, and that’s how Taylor first met him.

He later recalled that his mustache and number 87 jersey were a memorable look during that time, and he was sporting them when he first met Taylor.

According to a source with inside knowledge, Travis and Taylor began communicating via text and phone calls around the beginning of September, according to TopMob News.

“It’s been very low-key,” the insider explained, “as he’s been in season.”

Okay, so I was losing it when I found out Taylor actually went to the Chiefs game! Travis invited her, and she went and sat with his mom, Donna Kelce! Can you believe it?! And then, after they won against the Bears, pictures surfaced of them being super affectionate at a bar nearby. Seriously, they were all over each other – it was the cutest, most amazing thing ever! I’m officially obsessed with this whole situation.

Despite rumors that they met for the first time in person, the singer of “Karma” explained that they had actually already spent a considerable amount of time getting to know each other.

As Taylor noted, “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” 

To show how serious things were getting, Taylor brought a group of her friends – including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, and Antoni Porowski – to see the Chiefs play the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Taylor Swift seems to be getting close to Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Travis Kelce’s best friend and teammate, Patrick Mahomes. This connection, both at and away from NFL games, suggests Taylor might be serious about Travis.

The couple publicly showcased their relationship with a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live on October 14th. They continued the fun with the show’s after-party and a romantic dinner at the Waverly Inn.

During his team’s break, Travis flew to Argentina to see Taylor Swift perform on her Eras Tour. While there on November 11th in Buenos Aires, he connected with Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, and even received a mention from Taylor during the show.

“Karma is that guy on the Chiefs,” Taylor sang, “coming straight home to me.”

Following the performance, Taylor Swift reportedly rushed backstage to greet Travis Kelce with a warm and affectionate kiss.

Taylor addressed the lavender craze surrounding her appearances at Travis’ games.

She told Time that being able to support him doing what he’s passionate about is important, and they’re both there for each other, not worrying about who else is around. It’s the complete opposite of having to hide their relationship and go to great lengths to keep it secret.

 

The famous singer made Travis’ game on December 17th a family event, bringing her father along to support her boyfriend.

Taylor and Travis rang in the New Year together, and shared a kiss at midnight on January 1st.

Taylor continued getting to know Travis’ family and spent time with his brother, Jason Kelce, and sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, while watching the Chiefs play the Buffalo Bills.

After the Chiefs won the AFC Championship and earned a place in the 2024 Super Bowl, Taylor joined Travis on the field to celebrate. They shared a kiss and told each other ‘I love you’.

“Tay, I’m gonna enjoy with the guys,” he told her. “I love you—so much it’s not funny.”

 
 

After Travis helped the Kansas City Chiefs win on February 11, 2024, in Las Vegas, he and his partner shared a kiss on the field.

On February 12th, Taylor shared a video of Travis online, jokingly showing how she brought her parents to a club with him after the Super Bowl.

Taylor Swift’s first Instagram post with Travis Kelce showed the two of them posing with Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The photo was taken backstage at Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London’s Wembley Stadium.

I was at Taylor’s seventh Eras Tour show, and back at Wembley in London for the second night, and it was incredible! The best part? Seeing Travis Kelce come onstage with Taylor during ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ – he joined her as a backup performer! It was such a sweet and unexpected moment.

Okay, so, I totally lost it when I found out they were spotted on two dates in New York City over New Year’s weekend! And get this – they were wearing matching outfits both times! It’s like, are they even trying to be subtle?! I’m obsessed, seriously obsessed. It’s the cutest thing ever, and I need more pictures immediately!

The couple spent the NFL off-season together, taking a snowy trip to Montana with sports broadcaster Erin Andrews.

In July 2025, Travis shared the first photos of him and Taylor together on Instagram. One cute picture showed them at dinner, and fans noticed their phone lock screens featured photos of each other.

Taylor Swift, a self-proclaimed big fan of the New Heights podcast, appeared on an extended, two-hour episode with Travis and Jason Kelce on August 13th. During the conversation, she openly shared details about her life with Travis, both publicly and privately, and announced the title of her upcoming twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which will be released on October 3rd.

Over two years after Travis mentioned Taylor on his podcast – a moment fans quickly noticed – the couple announced their engagement. In a playful nod to Taylor’s song “So High School,” they shared their engagement photos on Instagram with the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
