Jason Momoa Reveals the Emotional Mission Behind His New Travel Series

As On the Roam Season 2 approaches, reveals the show’s emotional endgame.

What I really hope people take away from this is the idea that everyone has something special within them – a unique talent or perspective. We can all learn from each other by sharing those inner gifts and showing them off.

Everyone has value and something unique to contribute to others, and vice versa. That small percentage of knowledge and understanding we gain from connecting with each other, celebrating our individuality, and working together will ultimately make the world a better place.

He regularly connects with people from all creative fields – artists, musicians, craftspeople, and more – taking the time to genuinely understand their experiences. Mendoza and Momoa have a long history of successful creative collaborations, and now they’re expanding their work beyond what they’re used to. While Momoa is well-known for his roles in popular culture, like Aquaman, it’s wonderful to see him prioritize authentic, unforced human connection.

Jason Momoa Wants To Take A Break From Acting To Pursue A New Passion

With the second season of On the Roam coming out, Jason Momoa has been exploring new passions and learning skills while traveling. He shared how the show has personally impacted him, specifically sparking a desire to improve his guitar playing. “There’s just not enough time to do everything I want,” Momoa said. “On the Roam is a way to experience some of those things, and we’re filming these stories in our own style. We’re highlighting the lives and crafts of others, and it’s fulfilling because I’m getting to pursue things – like playing music – that I never imagined I would.”

He ended with a thoughtful idea: he’d like to take a break from acting to focus on learning music, hoping it would make him even better at his craft. But he quickly added that he’s still developing and learning, and that’s okay.

On the Roam Season 2 airs on May 14.
