TK QUOTES
As many of you know, winning my Emmy in 2021 for playing Deborah was a very emotional moment. I immediately thought of my beloved husband, Richard Gilliland, who we’d lost just six months before, at the age of 71. I dedicated that award to him, and his memory continues to inspire me every day.
She explained that she owed her success to him, saying he had prioritized her opportunities by temporarily stepping back from his own career. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without his support,” she said.
Jean and Richard met while working on the show *Designing Woman* and married in 1987. They had two sons: Connor Gilliland, born in 1989, and Forrest Gilliland, born in 2010.
In a 2021 interview with *The New Yorker*, Jean spoke about Richard, saying he felt Richard never fully reached his potential as an actor. She also added that she owed everything she has to him.

While performing at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, 73-year-old actor Set. 14 explained to the audience that he was walking with a limp because he’d broken his knee over the summer and it hadn’t fully healed. He joked that it made him walk like John Wayne.
Despite everything, she remained cheerful. As Jean explained, a real perk of winning an award is the chance to publicly acknowledge and thank your colleagues.
She praised her amazing team and cast, especially Hannah Einbeinder, and the show’s creators. She also shared a heartfelt message to her sons, Connor and Forrest Gilliland, calling them her biggest support.
Jean added, “Let’s be good to each other.”

I’m so excited about all the new shows coming out! I can’t wait to see Colin Farrell as The Penguin – he’s perfect for the role. And Stephen Graham in Adolescence? Brilliant casting! I’m also really intrigued by Jake Gyllenhaal’s upcoming series, Presumed Innocent. Bryan Tyree Henry is always fantastic, so Dope Thief is definitely on my list, and I’m curious to see Cooper Koch in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. It’s going to be a great season of television!

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been keeping a close eye on the standout performances this season! We had some incredible actors in the running – Giancarlo Esposito from *The Boys*, Scott Glenn of *The White Lotus*, and Forest Whitaker in *Andor* were all fantastic.
