Jenna Ortega’s 2025 Emmys motto? Go bold or go home.
Jenna Ortega, known for her role in *Wednesday*, made a bold fashion statement when she arrived at the awards ceremony on September 14th at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, where she was set to present an award.
The actress, previously an Emmy nominee for her role as Wednesday Addams, wore a striking outfit to the event. Her top was covered in large, colorful jewels and showed off her midriff. She paired it with a long black skirt, black heels, and a bold dark red lipstick.
Jenna will be joined by several other stars presenting at the award show, which will be hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze. These include Angela Bassett, Ike Barinholtz, Tina Fey, Eric Dane, Walton Goggins, and Sofia Vergara.
Jenna, age 22, is known for her striking fashion choices, especially on the red carpet. She often draws inspiration from her character, embracing a dark and mysterious style, as she did during the promotional events for the second season of her Netflix series this summer. She’s even mentioned that Wednesday’s unique and unsettling personality has begun to influence her own personal style and demeanor, even when she’s not working.
Jenna recently told *Harper’s Bazaar* that her style has evolved, and she now leans more towards a Gothic aesthetic. While she’s always been drawn to darker themes, she explained that growing up as a Disney star meant she was expected to be cheerful, sweet, and upbeat.
However, she noted that she only identifies with the fictional teen to a point.
She continued, explaining that the costume felt condescending, like people were talking down to him. She added that being short meant people literally looked down on him, and the outfit amplified that feeling.
