Rex Linn Reveals Reba McEntire’s Late-Night Habit at Emmys 2025

Reba McEntire certainly knows how to stay golden.

The country music star will perform a special tribute to celebrate the 40th anniversary of *The Golden Girls* at the 2025 Emmy Awards.

Reba, with her boyfriend Rex Linn by her side, told Zuri Hall on September 14th at the Emmys red carpet event at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles that she still loves the show. And The Voice coach isn’t the only Golden Girls lover in their household.

Rex added, “Honestly, not liking *The Golden Girls* is like not liking puppies! I’m a huge fan.”

Reca shared that she relates most to Bea Arthur’s famous character, explaining, “I think I’m a lot like Dorothy – direct and honest.”

Rex revealed that his co-star from *Happy’s Place* has a surprising habit before going to bed.

He shared, “You can catch her late at night watching reruns.”

You know, after all these years in the spotlight, one thing remains constant for Reba – cherishing her friendships. It’s really not surprising she’s still close with Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sofia. After nearly five decades in the music business, I’ve learned what truly matters is the people who’ve been there for you, through thick and thin. Those relationships are priceless!

As the singer of “I’m a Survivor” put it, the most rewarding part of working in entertainment, regardless of the type of music or performance, is the friendships you build along the way. Having those friends to support you, both when you’re succeeding and facing challenges, is incredibly valuable. Ultimately, making genuine connections is the greatest reward this industry offers.
