Jennifer Garner Is Whipping Up an Exciting New Career Venture

Jennifer Garner is saying yes to a new gig.

Jennifer Garner, the 53-year-old actress known for her funny #PretendCookingShow videos on Instagram, is now sharing her recipes in a new format, making it even easier for families to cook and enjoy her delicious meals.

Jennifer announced on Instagram on December 21st that fans of their #PretendCookingShow can now subscribe to their new YouTube channel!

She shared a link to her cooking channel and posted several videos that same day: two full-length recipes – sweet potato and black bean chili, and beef bourguignon – plus four shorter videos showcasing oatmeal, double chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin maple muffins, and a unique biscuit-scone hybrid she calls “biscones.”

Jennifer said that all episodes, both past and present, will now be available in one convenient location. She invited viewers to check them out and expressed gratitude for their support and enjoyment of the show’s quirky content.

The founder of Once Upon a Farm, an organic snack brand, announced that the new channel will launch just in time for the holidays, featuring seasonal recipes.

Just a quick note – we’re starting things off with some special holiday-themed episodes! We wish you a wonderful and joyful holiday season filled with baking!

For Jennifer, the love of baking comes from her own family memories.

Jennifer Garner fondly remembers her childhood filled with the aroma of home baking. She told Elle Decor that her mom was always baking something, and she especially cherished the smell of bread on Sundays, knowing a fresh loaf was coming.

Jennifer is taking after her mother and cooking recipes that her children—Violet, 20, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ben Affleck—absolutely adore.

And creating those precious family memories are what it’s all about.

She told People magazine in 2022 that baking and cooking for her family is her way of showing love. It’s how they know she cares and is doing her best, even when things are chaotic.

It’s a really heartwarming story about finding the right family.
