Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are carving out time to enjoy some reindeer games. 

With Christmas approaching, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who finalized their divorce in January after two years of marriage, were seen shopping with Ben’s 13-year-old son, Samuel, in Los Angeles.

On December 21st, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, and his son enjoyed a day out together, browsing shops at the Brentwood Country Mart and having lunch at a local farmer’s market. Everyone was dressed warmly for the season. Ben, 53, and his son, who is the youngest of his three children with Jennifer Garner, both wore neutral-colored outfits, while Jennifer, 56, combined a cozy cardigan with a brown dress and boots.

This event follows a reunion between the stars of Gigli for their new film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, which happened in October. They appeared happy together at the New York City premiere, posing for photos on the red carpet. Both Ben and Jennifer produced the musical drama, based on the 1992 musical, and Ben thought Jennifer gave a particularly strong performance as Ingrid Luna.

He told TopMob News that Jennifer was amazing in the film, particularly praising her portrayal of a glamorous Hollywood actress. He explained the role was incredibly demanding, requiring perfect execution of singing, dancing, and acting, as even small errors would be noticeable due to the complex choreography and the need to balance many different emotional layers in the movie.

He observed that Selena, who is a mother to 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with Marc Anthony, managed a very challenging situation with remarkable poise and elegance.

He went on to say he loved her performance in the movie, describing her as amazing and spectacular. He was excited to have been involved in the project, adding that she seemed perfectly suited for the role, something she’d dreamed of doing her entire life.

Now that Jennifer has finally acted on this exciting idea, she’s thankful that Matt Damon helped her reimagine the story of Good Will Hunting in a way that felt personal to her.

She shared on Today that Ben was essential to getting the movie made, and she’ll always be grateful to him for that. She also explained the film actually helped her process the end of her marriage. It’s ironic, she added, because the movie itself is about finding comfort and hope through art – especially during difficult times.

Working on this project meant a lot to me, and it actually helped me cope with a tough time in my personal life. It was a really positive experience that I’ll always cherish.
