Jessi Draper isn’t keeping any secrets.
The star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives openly discussed her difficult split from her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, and shared her thoughts on what’s happening with the “MomTok” community following the issues surrounding Taylor Frankie Paul.
Jessi recently spoke out about a video from 2023 showing a fight between her and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. The incident led to Jessi pleading guilty to a serious assault charge. She shared her reaction almost a week after the video became public.
She explained to Alex Cooper on the March 25th episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast that while they were aware of the video from 2023, they hadn’t actually seen it. She added that watching it is difficult because it reveals a hidden pain, and she often tells Taylor it doesn’t reflect who she truly is.
After the video became public, Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette was canceled before it could even begin on March 22nd.
Jessi was also going through a difficult breakup. She explained that even though they had already separated privately, she was shocked when Jordan officially filed for divorce.
It really hurt when Jordan and I hadn’t agreed on how we’d tell our kids about separating, and then he just did it without me. Thankfully, they’re still young, but it felt like a real betrayal. To make things worse, I was expecting us to work through all the legal stuff together – you know, dividing everything up like our house, cars, and belongings. I had a massive stack of forms to fill out to even start the process. I thought we’d do it as a team, but he just went ahead and completed them all himself. Now I have no idea what he’s even claimed or agreed to.
TopMob News has reached out to Jordan for comment and has not heard back.

Okay, so everyone saw it coming, honestly. They were clearly struggling since like, 2024. And then… then Jessi started getting way too close to Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa. It wasn’t just flirting, you could tell. It was… an emotional thing. I knew it was bad news, and now it’s finally happened. I’m heartbroken for them, but also… I just knew this was where it was headed.
Looking back, my marriage felt incredibly stifling – I constantly felt like I was failing. Then I met Marciano, and it was like a breath of fresh air. He was genuinely kind, and for the first time, someone told me I was attractive, fun to be around, and worthy of respect. It sounds silly now, but I remember thinking, ‘This – this is how a partner should treat you,’ and it was a revelation.

Shortly after TMZ released a video showing a 2023 fight between Jessi Draper’s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives costar, Taylor Frankie Paul, and her then-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, Jessi Draper shared what she initially thought when she saw it.
She explained to Alex Cooper on the March 25, 2026 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast that while everyone knew about the incident and the existence of a video in 2023, she personally never saw it. She added that the police possessed the video and had discussed its contents.
Watching that video is really difficult because Taylor is clearly hurting deeply, and I constantly remind her that this isn’t her true self. She fell into a very damaging pattern, and it’s heartbreaking to see. Of course, the fact that a child is involved makes it even worse for everyone.
The hairstylist stressed that she knows her friend is a good person, even considering the incident where police reports stated Taylor’s five-year-old daughter was unintentionally hit.
Jessi emphasized she wasn’t defending anyone’s actions, but she personally knows Taylor and hopes for a positive resolution for everyone involved. Her main concern is the well-being of the children, wanting them to be safe, happy, and healthy. That’s her biggest priority right now.

I missed two calls from Taylor, and when I realized who was calling, I was immediately worried,” she remembered, recalling the moment while she was with Dancing With the Stars professional Sasha Farber. “When I answered, she asked how I was doing. Taylor always has a lot on her mind, so she can seem a little distant sometimes, but she genuinely cares about her friends.
Jessi was going through a divorce with her husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, and Taylor reached out to see how she was doing.
Jessi explained that the other person started by asking how she was, and then Jessi immediately asked how they were doing in return.
And she’s continued to ask Taylor that question in the days since.
Jessi mentioned she’d just spoken with her and that she seemed optimistic. She believes her friend understands the challenges ahead will be difficult and frightening.
She stressed that Taylor is always honest. Everyone knows that about her, and she believes Taylor will navigate this situation as well as possible, taking some time to consider her options.

Jessi shared that the MomTok series might overcome its current challenges, but filming for season five needs to be temporarily paused. While executives initially made this decision – confirmed by a source to TopMob News on March 16th following Dakota’s police report – the cast agreed to extend the break.
We stopped filming as soon as we started getting hints about what was happening, even before the news became public. We didn’t want to accidentally say something incorrect on camera without knowing all the facts.
She explained they didn’t want to deal with this information and discuss it simultaneously. They decided to pause filming to give everyone a chance to process things, believing it was the best course of action for everyone involved.

Despite initiating the breakup, the 33-year-old was surprised when her ex-partner filed for divorce before she was ready. They share two children together, and she also helped raise his daughter from a previous relationship.
She said she felt devastated because they had promised to tell their children about the divorce together before making it official, and they hadn’t. This included his teenage daughter, who is around 13.
We planned to tell our children about the separation together, but he didn’t, which felt like a real letdown. Thankfully, they’re still young. Then, I had a ton of legal forms to complete detailing how to split everything – our possessions, the house, the cars – paperwork we needed to file with the court. He just went ahead and filled it all out himself, so I don’t even know what’s in those documents.
TopMob News contacted representatives for Jordan seeking a response to Jessi’s claims regarding their marriage and breakup, but has not received one yet.

Jessi responded to gossip claiming Jordan was funding lavish parties during their marriage, clarifying she understood the rumors to involve explicit sex parties, or orgies.
She went on to say she couldn’t imagine what other types of parties he’d spend money on – just regular parties where you go and have fun. That’s what she’s choosing to believe, since she’s never actually talked to him about it, only heard about it from someone else.
She did point out that she didn’t know if the rumors were true, saying, “I hadn’t even considered that before. I really have no idea.”

Okay, so, it’s just… heartbreaking, honestly. Jessi basically said she and Jordan aren’t really talking much at all since they started the divorce. It’s like, barely any contact. I’m just… devastated for them both, but mostly for Jessi, obviously. It just feels so final, you know?
She told me he’d sent her a text saying he’d submitted something, but hadn’t realized it would be made public.
She said she replied to his comment, referencing a statement he’d already given to TMZ, saying, ‘That’s funny, considering you talked to them yourself.’
Jessi said she didn’t want to communicate with Jordan after he told her he’d been advised to end their direct contact. She explained that she wanted all communication about their children to go through someone else, saying, “I told him not to talk to me anymore, and that we’d handle things regarding the kids through a third party.”
In fact, she had even decided to change her phone number.
Honestly, things have changed drastically. He’s completely in the dark about what’s going on now. I used to rely on my old phone to talk about the kids, but he doesn’t have my new number, and that’s just fine with me. It feels like we’re really moving towards completely separate lives, and in a way, it’s a relief.

The reality TV personality explained that she had an emotional connection, and even kissed, Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa because she was having problems with her boyfriend, Jordan, in 2024.
She described feeling completely stuck in the marriage, like she couldn’t do anything to please him. He had worn her down emotionally, and she was profoundly unhappy. She felt trapped not just financially and in her business – as viewers saw in season four – but also because he made her believe she had no way out.
She explained she was deeply hurt. Meeting Marciano was the first time someone had been kind to her, telling her she was cool, pretty, and fun – making her feel valued. She realized then that this was how she deserved to be treated by a man.
Jessi acknowledged that her romantic involvement with Marciano – which became public on season three of SLOMW in 2025 – was a mistake, and she’d even suspected it could end her marriage while it was happening.
She recalled thinking that if she kissed him – just a simple kiss – it would give her a justification to end things. She believed it would give Jordan a reason to break up with her, and she’d finally be free.
As she put it, “Even if it was me that did the bad thing, I was like, ‘Maybe this could end it.'”

The owner of JZ Styles claimed that before she and Jordan split up, he threatened to share screenshots of conversations between her and Marciano.
She explained that he started blackmailing her by threatening to post private text messages with someone named Marciano. He had these messages saved as a draft on his TikTok account. Whenever he was angry, he would threaten to share the texts and ‘ruin her life’.
I tried to take his phone and told him, ‘Jordan, don’t do this,’ she explained. At the time, no one else knew what I’d done. I was really worried he would destroy my life and my business – I have fifty people working for me, and this could have ruined everything.
She alleged that he began recording her while she was trying to grab the phone from him.
That’s when I realized how unhealthy things had become. I was desperately trying to prevent my husband from using something against me, and I thought, ‘This isn’t right.’ I left him the very next day because I knew it couldn’t continue.

Jessi has a complex history with cosmetic surgery, and she recently opened up about why she didn’t talk about her procedures sooner.
I receive a lot of criticism for my accomplishments, and I wanted to address that. I didn’t want people to assume I simply desired a certain appearance or situation. Things didn’t unfold as I expected, and that’s why I felt it was important to share my story.
She confessed she wished she hadn’t had several cosmetic surgeries after the fourth season, specifically eyelid surgery (both upper and lower) and a fat transfer.
Looking back at season four, she realized she looked great and wondered why she’d ever felt insecure. She explained that gaining that perspective was new for her, and it helped her realize she didn’t need to feel pressured to change her appearance.
However, she believed that it was, in part, due to her mental health struggles.
She realized that controlling her appearance was the one thing she felt she could manage. It might seem strange, but when she felt powerless over everything else, focusing on how she looked became a way to cope.

Even with all the drama surrounding the cast of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Jessi says there’s a lot of affection between them. Currently, she’s closest to her friends Mayci Neeley and Mikayla Matthews.
Jessi hasn’t spoken to her costar, Demi Engemann, since they had a disagreement during season two and last saw each other at the season three reunion.
It’s been a complicated relationship with Demi,” she explained. “I want her to be happy, but we had a lot of problems and it just wasn’t a lasting friendship. I can be polite if we cross paths, but ultimately, we weren’t meant to be close.

Okay, so, I’ve been following Jessi and Jordan’s divorce so closely, and Jessi actually talked about what might happen with dividing everything up! It’s just… heartbreaking, honestly, but she gave us a little peek into how they’re figuring out the settlement. I’m just trying to keep up with everything, it’s all so messy!
Honestly, I’m relieved I won’t have to share any part of my companies with him, but it looks like I’m going to have to pay alimony and child support. There’s also a chance I’ll have to make a lump-sum payment, but he just filed yesterday, so I haven’t even gotten all the specifics yet. I’m still waiting to find out exactly what he’s asking for.
More than anything, she was relieved that Jordan wouldn’t be involved in any of her businesses, like her hair salon, JZ Styles, or her workshop, JZ Academy.
But she admitted that it’s difficult having to divide any assets with her ex.
She admitted things weren’t good. While acknowledging she also made errors in the relationship and that he deserved some compensation, she expressed frustration that he was now trying to take a portion of the business she and her family had worked so hard to create from nothing.
She also mentioned that if she needed to for the sake of their children, she’d be willing to make it work, as she wants them to have a stable father figure.

Jessi’s recent breakup has marked a fresh start in her life, and she might even be falling for someone new.
Jessi, who was once married to Zach Gish, shared that she hasn’t been on a date since she was 20 years old. She explained that she married young – first to Jordan, right after turning 21 – and now feels incredibly nervous about dating again. ‘It’s like starting all over,’ she said, ‘I feel like a teenager and honestly have no idea what I’m doing!’
She explained she was ready to start dating again. She valued her newfound independence and didn’t want to rush into a serious relationship. While she anticipated talking to different guys and enjoying meeting new people, she also wanted to be cautious and avoid getting involved with someone too quickly without realizing it. She simply wanted to have fun and explore.
