The Duggars can count a new addition into the family.
John-David and Abbie Duggar recently welcomed their third child, a baby girl, they shared with the public.
John and Abbie announced the arrival of their baby girl on Instagram on March 1st, sharing a heartwarming family photo. They said they welcomed their ‘sweet little lady’ last month and are overjoyed with all the newborn cuddles.
I just loved the new photo! Justin and his wife looked so happy with their three kids – little Grace, who’s six, three-year-old Charlie, and their brand new baby. Everyone was beaming at the camera, it was such a sweet moment!
The couple, married in 2018, announced in September that they are expecting their third child.
On September 3rd, the couple announced on Instagram that they’re expecting their third child in early 2026!
They shared the news with photos of their family, showing them holding up balloons numbered one, two, and three, and also included pictures from Abbie’s ultrasound.
Becoming parents hasn’t been simple for the couple. Shortly after sharing their pregnancy announcement, Abbie revealed she has hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe condition causing extreme nausea and vomiting, usually starting early in pregnancy, according to the National Institute of Health.
The 33-year-old shared an update on Instagram on September 27th, posting photos of herself with her baby bump on the beach. She wrote that she’s over halfway through her pregnancy and feeling much better after a difficult first half. She expressed gratitude and praised God. She also included the hashtags #pregnant and #hyperemesis.

John-David, age 36, isn’t the only one of his 18 siblings with a new baby. His sister, Jana Duggar, and her husband, Stephen Wissmann, welcomed their first child, a son named Archie Gerald Wissmann, in December.
Jana and Stephen recently announced the arrival of their son, Archie Gerald Wissmann, who was born on December 30, 2025. In a joint Instagram post, they shared that they wanted to adjust to life with their new baby before sharing the happy news, and that he has brought immense love and joy into their lives. They are enjoying these first few weeks as a family and feeling incredibly grateful.

The couple shared the news of their pregnancy in August with three photos highlighting Jana’s baby bump. Her sister, Jessa Duggar Seewald, excitedly expressed how happy she was to be an aunt again.
The mom of six shared on Instagram on August 18th how excited she is for her sister, Jana Duggar, and Stephen Wissman. She said she can’t wait to meet their baby and jokingly hopes to be the favorite aunt!
But Jessa will have to get in line with their seven other sisters for that honor.
Jana responded on Instagram, jokingly saying, “Thanks! It seems like a lot of aunts are trying to be the favorite!”

This couple, who first fell in love in high school, are now parents to nineteen children and grandparents to more than thirty-six grandchildren.
Michelle remembers accepting a religious faith at age 15. Later, Jim Bob was visiting homes in the neighborhood as part of his church’s outreach program. A friend mentioned that a newly religious cheerleader lived at the Ruark family’s house, so Jim Bob went and knocked on their door.
Jim Bob invited Michelle to Sunday school and hoped they could become each other’s spiritual guides, though Michelle doesn’t recall their first meeting being particularly memorable. A year later, Michelle applied for a job at the frozen yogurt shop run by Jim Bob’s parents. In a 2017 blog post celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary and Jim Bob’s birthday, Michelle recalled meeting him at the shop: “You came to the counter, introduced yourself, and were very shy but sweet! I don’t remember much of the conversation, except you finally asked me to go to the junior-senior banquet with you!”
Michelle and Jim Bob first connected at a dinner held at Shiloh Christian. However, it was the hours they spent talking about the Bible at her parents’ home afterward that really solidified their bond. As Michelle explained, that’s when they felt their hearts truly connected. They graduated high school in May 1984 and were married just two months later in July. Michelle was 17 at the time, and Jim Bob was 19.

The couple dedicated themselves to God and each other for the long run.
Jim Bob previously served as a state representative for Arkansas’s sixth district from 1999 to 2002, where he was vice chair of the House Corrections and Criminal Law Subcommittee. He ran for U.S. Senate in 2002 but didn’t win the primary. He also sought the Republican nomination for the Arkansas State Senate District 35 in 2006, but was unsuccessful.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are both real estate agents and have long been involved in conservative political and social activism. This involvement, along with their large family, made them both strong advocates for and subjects of controversy surrounding their show, 19 Kids and Counting (originally titled 17 Kids and Counting when it began in 2008).
As of October 2024, they were grandparents of 33 with three on the way.

Josh Duggar, the oldest of the Duggar children, was born on March 3, 1988. Like his parents, he became involved in conservative activism, working with the Family Research Council.
He resigned following the release of old police records in 2015 which showed he had been accused of sexually abusing several girls, including his sisters Jessa and Jill Duggar, while he was a teenager. In a June interview with Fox News, Jessa defended her brother, claiming the accusations were exaggerated and untrue. She stated that, as one of the alleged victims, she knew the claims were false, even though some people disagreed with her perspective.

His wife, Anna Duggar, whom he married on September 26, 2008, in a ceremony shown on the show 19 Kids and Counting, remained supportive, even after he confessed to infidelity.
In 2016, when he began treatment, his parents described it as an important start to his recovery process.
Anna and her husband have seven children: Mackynzie (born October 8, 2009), Michael (June 15, 2011), Marcus (June 2, 2013), Meredith (July 16, 2015), Mason Garett (September 12, 2017), Maryella Hope (November 27, 2019), and Madyson Lily (October 23, 2021). Meredith was born on the same day TLC canceled 19 Kids.
I still can’t believe it. Back in April 2021, they charged Josh with receiving and having child pornography – it was awful to read. He said he didn’t do it, pleaded not guilty to everything. But then, in 2022, the jury found him guilty on both counts, though thankfully the judge later threw out the possession charge. Still, he got twelve and a half years. It’s just… devastating. I’ve been following the case so closely, and it’s just heartbreaking to see this happen to someone I… admired.

Soon after Josh arrived, Michelle became pregnant again, but sadly had a miscarriage. While they were still heartbroken and seeking direction, Michelle and Jim Bob were overjoyed to discover they were expecting twins.
It felt like a special gift from God, a real encouragement to us,” she shared with Love to Know. “We’re still figuring things out as we go. It’s quite unique – I breastfeed all my babies, but they’re born very close together. I get pregnant again just eight months after having a baby, and it feels like God is working in our lives in unexpected ways.
John-David Duggar and his twin sister Jana Duggar were born on Jan. 12, 1990.

John-David and Abbie-Grace Burnett married on November 3, 2018, after a quick romance and engagement. Though they’d been aware of each other for years, they first met in person at a church event in Oklahoma, where Abbie grew up.
They welcomed daughter Grace Annette Duggar on Jan. 7, 2020 and son Charlie Duggar in September 2022.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always touched by stories of deep connection, and this one is especially sweet! Back in January 2020, on my partner John’s 30th birthday, I wrote him a message reflecting on something we’d been asked since childhood: whether we had that ‘twin thing’ – that unspoken understanding. I always said no, but the moment our daughter, Gracie, was born, everything changed. I genuinely felt his joy as if it were my own. It was a beautiful moment, and I finally realized that ‘twin thing’ really is real!
Jana said it was lovely seeing them and Abbie as parents, and that they both seemed to have a natural talent for it. She added that all the qualities that made him a great brother would also make him a fantastic father.
Abbie and John-David discovered in November 2025, while celebrating with Jana at her baby shower, that they are expecting a baby girl.

Jana watched eleven of her eighteen siblings get married before she met her husband, Stephen Wissmann. Stephen’s sister, Hannah, is married to Jana’s brother, Jeremiah. Although she sometimes felt frustrated by the wait, Jana believes everything happened according to God’s plan.
Jana explained to People magazine that she’s marrying later in life because she trusts God’s plan for everyone. ‘We all have unique paths,’ she said, ‘and it would be a pretty dull world if we were all the same.’ Her wedding is scheduled for August 15, 2024.
On Dec. 30, 2025, the couple welcomed their first child, son Archie Gerald Wissmann.

Jill Dillard (born May 17, 1991) found love in a way similar to her parents. She first met her future husband, Derick, in December 2011 when he and his church group stopped by the Duggar family home to sing Christmas carols. He grew up about 45 minutes away.
Jim Bob introduced Jill and Derick, and they quickly connected through email and video calls. That November, Jill and her father visited Derick in Nepal, and their relationship blossomed. In February 2014, Derick formally asked Jim Bob for Jill’s hand in marriage, and they were married on June 21, 2014. Together, they have three sons: Israel, born April 6, 2015, Samuel, born July 8, 2017, and Frederick, born July 7, 2022.
In April 2024, Jill announced she and Derick had experienced a miscarriage while expecting their first daughter.
In the Amazon Prime Video documentary Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, which debuted in June 2023, Jill and Derick Duggar discussed the controversies and religious beliefs connected to their family.

Jim Bob and Michelle’s fifth child, Jessa Duggar, was born Nov. 4, 1992.
Jessa and Ben met at church, and he began courting her in 2013. This traditional way of getting to know someone romantically was new to many viewers. Because the couple didn’t discuss their relationship before getting engaged, Jim Bob explained to People magazine that courting involves getting to know each other with both families involved, and setting goals together to see if they’re a good match for marriage. He contrasted this with dating, where couples often spend time alone and may become physically intimate.
Ben asked Jessa’s parents for permission to propose, and he did in August 2014 – it was then that he and Jessa first held hands. They married on November 1, 2014. Shortly after, while Jessa was pregnant with their first child, the show 19 Kids and Counting was canceled. TLC then aired a special featuring Jessa and her sister Jill discussing sexual abuse and educating viewers on the topic. That winter, Jill and Jessa starred in their own show, Jill and Jessa: Counting On, which later became Counting On and included other members of the Duggar family.
Jessa and Ben have four children: Spurgeon, born November 5, 2015; Henry, born February 6, 2017; Ivy Jane, born May 28, 2019; and Fern, born in July 2021. They sadly experienced a miscarriage during the 2022 holidays, but welcomed their newest son, George, in December 2023.
In August 2025, Jessa announced the birth of son Edward.

The sixth Duggar child, Jinger Vuolo, was born Dec. 21, 1993.
Jinger and Jeremy first connected while doing mission work in Laredo, Texas, and began dating in 2016. They got married on November 5, 2016 – the same day as Jinger’s nephew Spurgeon’s birthday, which is a bit tricky when you’re part of a large family of nineteen! Soon after their wedding, people started speculating that they were expecting a baby.
In June 2017, on the show Counting On, Jinger shared that she and her husband hoped to be settled in Laredo a year later, continuing their work serving God in whatever way they could.
Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo welcomed their first daughter, Felicity, on July 19, 2018. They had previously shared that they experienced a miscarriage in the fall of 2017. Their second daughter, Evangeline Jo, arrived in November 2020.
Son Finnegan Charles was born March 29, 2025.

Joseph Duggar, born on January 20, 1995, proposed to Kendra—whom he met at church—in May 2017. He chose a romantic moment—his sister Joy-Anna’s wedding—to ask her to marry him after only a few months of dating.
Joseph admitted he was nervous when he proposed, but felt confident she’d say yes because she’d previously told him, ‘I’m just waiting on you!’ Kendra, clearly surprised and overjoyed, told People, ‘I’m so happy and so shocked. I have so much I want to say, but I’m just shocked!’
The couple has welcomed three children: a son named Garrett, born in June 2018, and daughters Addison, born in November 2019, and Brooklyn, born in February 2021.

Eighth in line, Josiah Duggar was born on Aug. 28, 1996.
After publicly dating for only a few months, the couple announced they were engaged in March 2018. He shared that he proposed to Lauren in the same location where her parents had gotten engaged, explaining that the property held a lot of family history and was therefore meaningful to her.
Lauren’s future mother-in-law, Michelle, shared in a video on the family’s blog how much they adore her, calling her a ‘precious girl.’ Jessa and Ben also sent their congratulations, along with chocolate candies shaped like hugs and kisses. Michelle jokingly said they knew the couple planned to share their first kiss on their wedding day, but offered the chocolates as a fun consolation prize if they visited.
I remember when Josiah dated Marjorie Jackson – they seemed really sweet together! It didn’t end up working out, though, and they parted ways in the summer of 2015. He told People magazine that they had a good time, but they were both really focused on following God’s plan. She just didn’t feel like the timing was right, so they decided to take a break – or, as he put it, ‘call it quits for a bit.’
Oh my gosh, I was SO thrilled when he and Lauren got married on June 30th, 2018! They told People it was the most perfect day ever, and honestly, it looked like it! Then, November 8th, 2019… Bella Milagro arrived! Her name means “miracle baby,” and it just broke my heart (in the best way!) to learn Lauren had a miscarriage back in October 2018. They’ve just kept adding to their beautiful family – little Daisy in 2022, and then Ezra, their sweet baby boy, in May 2023! Seriously, they’re the cutest family ever!

Ninth sibling Joy-Anna Duggar was born Oct. 28, 1997.
Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth had been friends for 15 years before they began dating. They quickly fell in love, with Austin proposing in February 2017 and the couple marrying just a few months later on May 26, 2017, at Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas. Interestingly, this was the same wedding where Joseph Duggar proposed to Kendra Caldwell!

Joy-Anna and Austin have three children: Gideon Martin Forsyth, born February 23, 2018; Evelyn Mae Forsyth, born August 21, 2020; and Gunner James Forsyth, born May 17, 2023.

Jed and Jeremiah Duggar, the second set of twins born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, arrived on December 30, 1998.

Jed and Katey Nakatsu got married in April 2021 after dating for a year. They have two children: a son named Truett, born in May 2022, and a daughter named Nora Kate, born in June 2023.
Jed and Katey shared the wonderful news in July 2024 that they were expecting twin girls. Elsie Kate and Emma Kate arrived on January 8, 2025.

Jeremiah is a certified flight instructor and is married to Hannah Wissmann, who is the sister of Stephen (Jana’s husband). They have two daughters: Brynley, born in December 2022, and Brielle, born in February 2024.
They announced the arrival of their third daughter, Emery ‘Emy’ Jane Duggar, on May 18, 2025.

No. 12 Jason Duggar was born on April 21, 2000.
Back in January 2017, the Daily Mail said Jim Bob assisted Jase in purchasing a run-down house in Prairie Grove, Arkansas – roughly 30 minutes from the Duggar family’s property. Jase then went on to launch his own construction business.
He publicly revealed his relationship with Maddie Grace on Instagram in May 2024, and they got married in October of the same year.

Charmed No. 13, James Duggar was born July 7, 2001.
He’s not currently looking for a romantic relationship, but he’s a very loving and involved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Mom Michelle described James as the ‘fun uncle’ – someone all the younger boys admire and want to emulate! She wrote this on his 19th birthday in 2019. James has always been incredibly resourceful and capable of building or fixing anything he sets his mind to. Even as a child, he loved taking things apart – appliances, toys, you name it – to understand how they worked, and then reassembling them, often with his own creative improvements!
James put in a lot of effort this year to earn his commercial driver’s license, and now he’s a skilled driver of large trucks and heavy equipment! We’re excited to see what opportunities lie ahead for him.

No. 14 Justin Duggar arrived on Nov. 15, 2002.
Oh my gosh, I was SO excited when he finally revealed he was dating Claire Spivey back in September 2020! It felt like a dream come true, and then, just a few months later in November, they announced they were engaged! I nearly fainted! And then… the wedding! February 26th, 2021 – it was everything I hoped for, and I was living for every single detail! They are just perfect together.

Jackson Duggar, the fifteenth child of Jim Bob and Michelle, was born on May 23, 2004. He’s pictured here with his older sister, Jill.

On Jackson’s sixteenth birthday, his mom, Michelle, complimented his funny personality and mentioned how eager he was to finally get his driver’s license.

Johannah Duggar was born on October 11, 2005, which is why her family was featured in the original special called 16 Kids and Moving In.
On her daughter’s fifteenth birthday in 2020, Michelle wrote about how much joy she brings to others and how easily she makes friends. She added that her younger sisters completely idolize her, and Michelle feels incredibly blessed to be her mother.

Jennifer Duggar arrived on Aug. 2, 2007, then the baby of the family.
Their TLC show that premiered Sept. 29, 2008, was christened 17 Kids and Counting.

Now, OMG, she’s a teenager.
When her daughter, Jennifer, turned thirteen, Michelle described her as reliable, loyal, and a lot of fun! Jennifer is beloved by her younger cousins, who often clamor to be carried by her. She also has a big heart for animals, faithfully caring for her pets each day. Recently, she even helped raise a whole litter of seven bunnies!

Here on the right, the penultimate Duggar child was born Dec. 18, 2008.

Oh my gosh, Jordyn-Grace is just… radiant! Her mom described her back in 2019 as this incredibly friendly person who instantly connects with everyone – she never meets a stranger. And her laugh? Seriously, it’s the absolute highlight of my day, every single time. It’s just pure sunshine, honestly!

Josie Duggar, number 19 in her family, is pictured here with her niece Meredith. She was born on December 10, 2009, three months early and weighing just 1 pound, 6 ounces. She spent six months receiving care in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit).

Michelle described her daughter, Josie, as incredibly energetic when writing a birthday message for her 11th birthday in 2020. She noted that Josie is constantly on the go, from the moment she wakes up until bedtime.
