Josh Allen Breaks Down in Tears After Buffalo Bills Loss

Josh Allen is laying it all out on the field.

After the Buffalo Bills lost to the Denver Broncos 33-30 in the NFL playoffs on January 17th – ending their Super Bowl hopes – the quarterback openly shared his feelings about the defeat.

Visibly upset, Josh, 29, expressed his disappointment after the game on January 17th, saying he felt he hadn’t performed well enough to support his team.

Despite recently achieving a historic win for the Bills – their first playoff victory on the road in over thirty years against the Jacksonville Jaguars on January 11th – Josh Allen expressed a desire for a different outcome.

Josh shared in a video on X that this season felt very long and he was upset with how it concluded, saying it would stay with him for a while.

He also touched on what went wrong during the game.

The quarterback said they couldn’t win the game because of their five turnovers. They fumbled the ball twice and threw two interceptions, and he believes teams that make that many mistakes don’t deserve to win.

Josh recently lost a game against the Broncos, and this happened shortly after a photo of his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, wearing Broncos gear from the 2016 Super Bowl started making the rounds online.

He claimed he wasn’t aware of the actress’s past connections, telling Tracy Wolfson of CBS Sports that he “had no idea it was floating around.”

I was really shocked to read Tracy’s account on X from January 15th. Apparently, this NFL player actually laughed and made a pretty awful comment, suggesting his wife was ‘probably paid’ just to be seen at the Broncos game – the one where they beat the Panthers! He then told the reporter he absolutely wouldn’t mention it to his wife. It’s just… unbelievable and frankly, disrespectful.

Hailee, age 29, might have rooted for other football players before, but after attending a game in 2023, she publicly declared her support for Josh.

Hailee, who married football player Josh in May 2025 and announced her first pregnancy in December, shared how proud she is of his career.

“I couldn’t be prouder of him,” she told TopMob News in January. “He and the whole team have accomplished so much, and he’s the most dedicated person I know.”

The actress from The Edge of Seventeen has stated she intends to attend as many of her husband’s events in person as possible to support him.

Hailee shared with Variety in October that she schedules her time to be with him as much as possible. She enjoys using this time of year to relax, offer her support, and simply enjoy life together.

After Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen ended his relationship with Brittany Williams, he was seen having dinner in New York City with actress Hailee Steinfeld.

Two months later, the duo confirmed their relationship while kissing on vacation in Mexico. 

Almost a year after people started speculating they were dating, the athlete and actress recently made a public appearance on social media. They helped the athlete’s sister, Nicala Madden, reveal whether she was having a boy or a girl in a sweet TikTok video.

 

During Paris Fashion Week, the actress from The Edge of Seventeen and her NFL player boyfriend were spotted on a date, both wearing similar khaki-colored outfits.

The NFL player publicly confirmed his relationship with his partner by sharing photos on Instagram, including a picture taken at the Eiffel Tower, on July 23rd.

Included in that same post, the “Starving” singer squeezed in for a photo with Josh’s family. 

Reporter Kay Adams, on her show Up & Adams, affectionately nicknamed him “Mr. Hard Launch.” When asked about his relationship with Hailee, he shyly responded, “We love love.”

Hailee and Josh announced their engagement with an Instagram post on November 29, 2024. The photo showed Josh proposing on one knee as Hailee kissed him. They revealed they got engaged on November 22, 2024, in the post’s caption.

 

Josh and Hailee recently became engaged and then made their first public appearance as a couple at the NFL Honors, where Josh was awarded MVP. He sweetly acknowledged her in his acceptance speech.

He told her she was his constant support and closest friend, and that he wouldn’t have been able to achieve this moment without her.

Oh my gosh, you guys, they actually got married! It was the most beautiful wedding, seriously. It was in California, and she looked like an absolute dream in this amazing strapless dress… and get this, elbow-length gloves! I was completely obsessed with her look, it was just perfect.
