Jujutsu Kaisen Just Revealed Its Most Broken Power Yet (& Not Even Gojo Can Fight It)

The current season of Jujutsu Kaisen has revealed a fighter with an incredibly powerful and unusual Cursed Technique – one that could even challenge Satoru Gojo. As the season nears its conclusion this winter, and with the Culling Game drawing to a close, the series is introducing new characters and abilities. One of these fighters stands out with a particularly unpredictable power.

The first part of the Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game arc concluded the battle between Megumi Fushiguro and Reggie Star, and also showed us what’s happening with Fumihiko Takaba’s fight. Takaba initially appeared as a surprising helper for Megumi and quickly became known for his awful jokes. However, it’s now clear that his incredibly powerful Cursed Technique, called Comedian, makes him an exceptionally strong fighter – and he doesn’t even realize how strong he is.

Jujutsu Kaisen Fully Reveals Takaba’s Unbelievable Cursed Technique

Episode 11 of Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 1 shows more of the battle between Hanezoki and Takaba. It’s revealed that Takaba has skillfully avoided all of Hanezoki’s explosive attacks, even acting nonchalant when caught in the blasts. Remarkably, Takaba has sustained no injuries throughout the fight, and he’s doing it all without using the Reverse Cursed Technique. Combined with his previously shown strength, it’s clear he’s a very powerful opponent.

The narrator explains that Takaba’s Cursed Technique is called “Comedian” and is linked to his past as a performer. This ability essentially makes anything Takaba finds funny actually happen. Interestingly, it’s confirmed this technique is powerful enough to challenge Satoru Gojo. However, there’s a catch: Takaba doesn’t understand how his own power works.

How Strong Is Takaba in Jujutsu Kaisen?

Surprisingly, Takaba’s lack of control over his powers makes him even more of a threat. His ability has already proven capable of drastically altering reality in the anime, and it seems there are no boundaries to what it can do. Because he doesn’t understand how his power works, he’ll likely continue to act on impulse, doing whatever he finds amusing. This unpredictable nature is part of what makes him such an interesting character – especially considering he has a really bad sense of humor!

His humor doesn’t translate well, and honestly, he’s just not funny. He acts like his jokes give him power, similar to an over-the-top comedic character, but without the actual humor to back it up. Someone as direct as Gojo would never be able to handle that kind of behavior.
