Please be aware that this article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. The recent Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution movie has been incredibly popular, building excitement for the upcoming Season 3. The film retells the Shibuya Incident Arc and includes the first two episodes of the new season, revealing why Yuta Okkotsu has arrived. Season 3 will be released in two parts and will cover the Extermination, Perfect Preparation, and Culling Game arcs. While the exact number of episodes isn’t known, the season is expected to adapt the entire Culling Game Arc, which will likely end with a significant cliffhanger.
The next season of the series will focus on what happens after the intense events in Shibuya. Satoru Gojo’s students and other sorcerers are working to rescue him from a powerful, inescapable barrier he was tricked into entering. With Gojo gone, the situation in Shibuya quickly deteriorated, and the remaining sorcerers were forced to battle villains who were far more powerful than they anticipated. The new season will reveal what ultimately happens to Gojo, and his voice actor, Kaiji Tang, is particularly excited about a key moment.
Gojo’s Voice Actor Teases a Major Moment Coming to Jujutsu Kaisen

At this year’s Anime Pasadena convention, voice actor Tang expressed his enthusiasm for what’s coming next in Jujutsu Kaisen. He hinted at a long-awaited moment, saying, “I can’t say much without giving things away, but I’ve been waiting for that moment for years,” according to ScreenRant.
Tang hinted at a significant and impactful moment, describing it as likely to be highly emotional and potentially controversial. He believes it will evoke strong reactions from people, though he didn’t offer specifics.
2023 was an incredible year for the character Satoru Gojo. The first part of the anime focused heavily on his past, showing his high school days with Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri. The series also delivered many thrilling scenes featuring Gojo before he was sealed within the Prison Realm. Meanwhile, the manga kept the spotlight on him as he escaped the Realm and engaged in a months-long, intense battle with Sukuna, which ultimately ended in tragedy. Fans were captivated by the fight from beginning to end.
While Gojo won’t be heavily featured in the third season of Jujutsu Kaisen, he’ll appear in short scenes – likely flashbacks or new animated content. Fans are especially excited about a particular scene, which probably shows Gojo escaping the Prison Realm or what happens afterward. You can see the Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution movie in theaters now! Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on January 8, 2026, and will be available to stream on Crunchyroll and Netflix, where you can also watch the earlier seasons.
