Jujutsu Kaisen Unveils New Cast Members After the Latest Film

To celebrate the anime’s return, MAPPA released a movie, Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution, which summarizes the major events of the Shibuya Incident Arc and includes the first two episodes of Season 3. Although the manga has finished, the anime hasn’t yet shown some of the most exciting parts of the story. Things will get even more difficult in the Jujutsu Kaisen world after the Shibuya Incident, and Season 3 will reveal just how dangerous the villains are. Fans will finally learn the real reason why Yuta Okkotsu is determined to kill Yuji Itadori. The series will also explore what happens after the Shibuya Incident, introducing new characters who will be important to the plot.

The movie first launched in Japan on November 7, 2025, and a scene after the credits announced some of the actors who will play new characters. Fans quickly shared this news online, and popular Jujutsu Kaisen account @Go_Jover was among those who revealed the voice actors. Currently, we only know the cast for characters appearing in the first two episodes. As the anime progresses into the Culling Game Arc, more characters will be introduced, and their voice actors will be announced when they appear on screen.

The First Two Episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Will Introduce Four New Characters

Season three of the series kicks off with the Extermination Arc, focusing on Yuta’s mission to eliminate Yuji, as per orders from Jujutsu’s leaders. Following the chaos of the Shibuya Incident, the world of Jujutsu is in disarray. Adding to the conflict, Naoya Zenin – the son of the Zenin Clan Head and a well-known, divisive character – enters the fray, targeting both Yuji and Choso. Voice actor Koji Yusa, famous for roles like Gin Ichimaru in Bleach and Stanley in Dr. Stone, will be bringing Naoya to life.

I’m so excited for the upcoming episodes! We’re finally going to get a peek at Yuji’s parents, but it looks like their story is far from simple – lots of mysteries will remain! I’m especially thrilled about the voice cast: Toshiyuki Toyonaga, who I loved as Yuri in Yuri on Ice and Mikado in Durarara!!, is playing Yuji’s dad, Jin Itadori. And get this – Megumi Hayashibara, the amazing voice of Faye from Cowboy Bebop and Rebecca in One Piece, will be voicing Yuji’s mother, Kaori Itadori! Talk about incredible voice acting talent!

The biggest surprise reveal for the upcoming season is Master Tengen, a character frequently referenced but who will finally appear in Season 3. Though Master Tengen won’t have a lot of screen time, they’re a hugely important figure in the story – an incredibly powerful, ancient Jujutsu sorcerer. Interestingly, Yoshiko Sakakibara, who narrated Season 2, will be providing the voice for Master Tengen, a choice that adds to the character’s long-held mystique by the animation studio MAPPA.
