Okay, huge warning for fellow Jujutsu Kaisen fans – there are definitely spoilers ahead! I was so excited when Gege Akutami and Yuji Iwasaki launched Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo right after the main story ended, and it just wrapped up in March 2026 after a six-month run. It’s set 68 years after the Culling Game, following the grandkids of Yuta and Maki, and let me tell you, the Jujutsu world is facing another massive threat! Over 50,000 Simurians showed up in Japan seeking refuge, creating a whole new set of problems. The manga was pretty short – only 25 chapters – and focused on the struggle to find a way for everyone to coexist. The ending left me wanting more, with a bunch of questions still hanging, but hopefully, we’ll get some answers down the line!
The manga is complete in Japan, with the first two volumes already available and the final volume scheduled for release on May 1st, 2026. The series’ official X account recently revealed the cover art for the third volume, showcasing the twin characters Maru and Cross. Maru, in particular, plays a key role in the story, striving to save everyone and achieve peace. While English release dates haven’t been announced yet, we may receive more information later this year.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Will Reveal an Exciting Update This Month

On April 10th, 2026, @Go_Jover shared that the manga will have a big announcement on the 27th. While fans are hoping to hear about the story’s ending, nothing is official yet. The timing, just before the final volume comes out, suggests the announcement will likely be about that. Although the current story arc has finished and an anime adaptation isn’t likely anytime soon, the final manga volume needs to resolve some loose ends, particularly the hint about Dabura’s return.
The story concludes with Kyoko Tomoe lamenting her unsuccessful romantic life after Dabura was forced to return to Simuria. He had to leave to ensure the ritual involving Mahoraga didn’t result in Yuka’s death. Upon his return, Dabura swiftly defeated the Deskunte leader and then honored Dura with a hero’s grave. Dabura didn’t desire to remain a leader for long, as he had no interest in politics. The manga ends with a final image of Kyoko and Yuka looking shocked, Kyoko still dwelling on her lost love.
The story concludes as someone arrives, suggesting that Dabura will return, which makes sense given his brief leadership of the Deskunte tribe after killing the previous chief. Even after the ending, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo leaves several questions unanswered, particularly regarding the fates of Iori Okkotsu and Megumi Fushiguro, who received little attention. With Yuji now pursuing a different life path, there’s a possibility Gege Akutami may release a multi-part epilogue, allowing for further exploration of the characters and story.
