The well-known actor, recognized for his performances in TV shows such as Nip/Tuck, Charmed, and FBI: Most Wanted, passed away on July 2 at his home in Florida. This information was verified by his wife, Kelly McMahon, to Deadline. He was 56 years old.
On July 4th, Kelly expressed her feelings openly and shared with everyone that her treasured spouse, Julian McMahon, passed away tranquilly this week, having fought courageously against cancer.
Kelly went on to describe her late husband, whom she wed in 2014, as a man who “loved life.”
He adored his family, his friends, his job, and his supporters. His heartfelt desire was to spread happiness to countless people.
Kelly requested understanding as our family needs solitude to mourn at present. Meanwhile, she encouraged everyone who felt happiness from Julian, to keep finding joy in their lives. Lastly, we appreciate all the cherished memories.
In 2005, Julian was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the Best Actor category (Television Series Drama) due to his impressive performance in the medical drama. On the big screen, he achieved recognition, with his standout roles including that of the supervillain Dr. Doom in the 2005 film “Fantastic Four” and its sequel in 2007 titled “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer“.
