Kaitlyn Bristowe Addresses Sasha Farber Dating Rumors

Kaitlyn Bristowe isn’t dancing around the truth.

Following a video of a passionate dance at his house, professional dancer Sasha Farber’s partner clarified the nature of their relationship.

After appearing on the 20th anniversary show, the Bachelor Nation star wondered if people were surprised by her presence. She told Entertainment Tonight on November 11th, ‘I didn’t see the reactions, but were people talking about a ‘hard launch’ or something?’ She also clarified that she and Sasha are close friends.

She said she always makes time to see and spend time with him whenever she’s in Los Angeles, and they often dance together.

As for the sexy number being a hard launch? She laid it out quite plainly.

“We’re great friends,” the 40-year-old said. “I love him so much. And not dating.”

Sasha, age 41 and the winner of Dancing with the Stars season 29 with partner Artem Chigvintsev, recently shared a fun video that got a lot of attention online. Posted to Sasha’s Instagram on November 4th, the clip shows Kaitlyn being spun into his arms and then dipped. The video ends with both of them laughing as they playfully fall off camera and onto the floor.

Alongside the seductive clip, Sasha wrote, “Stay forever @kaitlynbristowe.”

A short video clip quickly went viral online, sparking a lot of reaction, including from some of Sasha’s fellow dancers on Dancing with the Stars. Peta Murgatroyd simply commented, “Ummmmm ok.”

Professional dancer Sharna Burgess also wondered if the moment was Sasha and Kaitlyn publicly announcing they were a couple, playfully asking, “Oh my gosh, I totally thought this was them officially confirming their relationship! (Is it? Please say it is!!)”

People were curious about Sasha and Kaitlyn’s relationship, but she soon explained why she was at his house.

Oh my god, he said to stay forever, and then, like, five minutes later he was practically showing me the door! But it was all playful, she said it with a little joke, and honestly, those dance lessons were EVERYTHING. And the food? Don’t even get me started – it was a total feast! I’m still dreaming about it!

Sasa, who previously danced with Jenn Tran on season 33, isn’t dating Kaitlyn. However, he’s been openly following the developing relationship between his ex-wife, Emma Slater, and professional dancer Alan Bersten.

Sasha addressed the pairing in an October TikTok Live, saying it wasn’t awkward at all. He shared that he’s truly happy for his ex and Alan, and hopes they have a great future together.

He went on to say that life doesn’t always go as planned, and holding onto hate isn’t worth it. It’s better to appreciate the good times you shared with someone—because those moments can be wonderful—and then wish them well as you both move forward.

Waltz on over and keep reading for a closer look at partners who did date outside the show…

The season 33 partners dated for about seven months between 2024 and spring 2025.

Showmance or Real Deal: Real deal.

During the final performance of the 2025 “Dancing with the Stars” tour in April, two of the professional dancers shared a kiss onstage while performing their last dance together, seemingly confirming rumors of a romantic relationship that had been circulating for months.

Are they a couple for show or are they genuinely in love? Their coworker, Ezra Sosa, seemed to confirm it’s the latter, enthusiastically responding “FINALLY” to a fan video of them kissing.

Fans started speculating about a possible romance between the former Bachelorette and the Jersey Shore star when they competed on season 31 of a show together. Their playful interactions on social media and indirect answers to questions about their relationship fueled the rumors.

Gabby shared with TopMob News in December 2022 that she quickly became friends with her fellow contestants on Dancing with the Stars. She said they connected because they have similar senses of humor. During the competition, she was very focused on winning and didn’t have much time for anything else. Even though they live in different states, they’re enjoying their friendship and are looking forward to what the future holds.

Despite initial speculation, this romance fizzled out quickly. Gabby and her co-star never became an official couple, and she later began dating comedian and writer Robby Hoffman in August 2023.

After finishing fifth on season 31 of the dance competition, the pair publicly confirmed they were dating on Valentine’s Day 2023. The actor, known for their role in CODA, shared a selfie with the choreographer, writing, “My Valentine! Happy Valentine’s Day!”

Britt and Daniel then announced their engagement in December 2023.

Showmance or Real Deal: Real deal.

Emma and Hayes Grier connected during the “Switch Up” week of season 21, and Alek even told her she was “so hot.” However, after Emma was eliminated from the show, she revealed that she and Alek hadn’t actually gone on a date yet, leaving the possibility open with a simple, “We’ll see.”

Is Alek’s interest in Emma genuine, or just for show? Alek gets flustered and avoids talking about his feelings for her, simply telling reporters “no comment,” which suggests he really does have a crush. However, Emma moved on after her relationship with Skarlatos ended in 2015, implying that even if there was something between them, it wasn’t a serious connection.

I was so excited when I heard that pro dancer and former Bachelorette contestant were hitting it off on Dancing with the Stars back in 2024! They seemed to have a real connection while competing. Sadly, it didn’t last. Once she went back to Miami to finish school in June 2025, things just kind of faded out. It was a bummer, but I wish them both the best!

Showmance or Real Deal: Unconfirmed.

These two began dating on and off in 2011, and got engaged on live television in October 2016. They married in March 2018, but TopMob News reported in August 2022 that they had decided to separate after four years of marriage.

Were they a ‘showmance’ or genuinely in love? Regardless, they remained close friends and friendly colleagues even after breaking up.

It’s actually a really positive situation,” Emma shared with TopMob News. “We’re a strong support system for each other, and I genuinely want Sasha to succeed. We truly have each other’s backs.”

Val and Jenna began dating in 2015, before Jenna became a professional dancer. They got engaged in June 2018 and married in April 2019. In July 2022, they shared the exciting news that they were expecting a baby. They welcomed their son, Rome Valentin, in January 2023.

In May 2023, Val told TopMob News that life is great. He shared that becoming a father has “definitely made him appreciate life and his family even more,” and he’s constantly learning new things as a dad.

Showmance or Real Deal? Real deal, y’all!

As a lifestyle expert, I was among the first to report back in December 2020 that Chrishell Stause from Selling Sunset was dating Pasha Pashkov from Dancing With the Stars. They’d actually both been contestants on season 29 of Dancing With the Stars, but their romance blossomed after the competition wrapped!

After dating for two months, TopMob News revealed that the couple had broken up. A source close to one of them said they enjoyed their time together, but ultimately decided to go their separate ways. The split was amicable and they remain friends, as it just wasn’t the right match or time for a long-term relationship.

Chrishell has since found love with partner G Flip.

Showmance or Real Deal: We’re calling Chrishell and Keo’s romance the real deal.

Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev first connected while competing on a show in 2017, but remained just friends. They rekindled their relationship after Nikki’s breakup with John Cena in 2018, and she publicly confirmed they were dating in May 2019. They became engaged later that year and soon after, learned they were expecting a child. Their son, Matteo, was born in 2020.

Unfortunately, the couple recently separated. Nikki filed for divorce in September 2024, following Artem’s arrest on suspicion of domestic violence. However, the Napa County District Attorney decided not to press charges after a complete investigation.

The divorce was finalized in November 2024, and both Nikki and Artem dropped the restraining orders they had filed against each other, hoping to move forward and co-parent their son peacefully. Despite initial speculation, their relationship was genuine.

Oh my gosh, did you see Alexis and Alan last season? The chemistry was insane! I totally picked up on it, and Ren even confessed she had a thing for him! I mean, a source told TopMob News they were really enjoying spending time together and were trying to see if it could become something more. I’ve been shipping them ever since!

Were they a real couple or just pretending for the show? Sadly, it seems like it was all for the cameras. Several sources reported they broke up in December 2018, citing the difficulties of a long-distance relationship and their busy schedules.

Professional dancers Maks and his partner got engaged on December 5, 2015, after being together since 2012. He proposed while they were onstage at a dance event called SWAY: A Dance Trilogy in Miami. They had their first son, Shai, and then married in a beautiful ceremony in July 2017. More recently, they welcomed their second child, Rio, in June 2023, and their third son, Milan, in July 2024.

Showmance or Real Deal: A match made in DWTS heaven!

Sabrina and Mark started dating during the fifth season of the show, but they split up a few months after unexpectedly leaving. Despite the breakup, they stayed on good terms, and Sabrina, known from The Cheetah Girls, even came back to support Mark when he competed the following season.

Showmance or Real Deal: Real deal.

Interestingly, they’d actually gone on a few dates before he joined the show. Although they initially denied being a couple during season eighteen, they still seemed to enjoy flirting and showing off their connection while performing.

Showmance or Real Deal: Total showmance.

Shortly after revealing his split from his wife of 14 years, Diane Plese, reports surfaced in TopMob News confirming a romantic relationship between the Shark Tank star and Kym Johnson, his dance partner from season 20 of the show. Sources say they are very happy together.

Robert and Kym initially didn’t reveal much about their relationship, but they soon became more open. They got engaged in February 2016, married just a few months later in June, and then welcomed twins in April 2018.

Showmance or Real Deal: Very, very, very real.

Karina and Mario became a couple during the third season of the show and dated for two years before ending their relationship in 2008. A representative for Smirnoff stated the split was due to the relationship not progressing as they hoped, following reports of infidelity on Lopez’s side.

Showmance or Real Deal: Real deal.

The dancers became engaged in 2009 after only dating for six months, not long after she ended her relationship with Mario Lopez. Unfortunately, they broke up later that year. Despite the split, they stayed friends and continued to enjoy vacations together.

Showmance or Real Deal: Real deal.

Married since 2014, the pros announced the arrival of their daughter Nikita in May 2023.

Daniella announced the joyful news on Instagram Stories with a sweet photo and video of Pasha and Nikita. She captioned the video “daddy’s girl” and the photo “My Geminis.”

Showmance or Real Deal: Real deal, baby!

Derek and Shannon became a couple after their strong connection on season six, but they broke up after almost a year in 2009. They announced the split with a surprisingly friendly joint message on Twitter. Derek tweeted that they had decided to end their romantic relationship, and Shannon followed up by saying they still cared for each other deeply and would remain friends.

Derek is now married to his dance partner Hayley Erbert.

Showmance or Real Deal: Real deal.

Despite rumors of a romantic connection during season 18, a source at TopMob News stated that the winning couple were simply friends.

Showmance or Real Deal: This time, ’twas a showmance.

Although they weren’t officially a couple, he definitely pursued a romantic connection with his dance partner during season 10, showering her with expensive gifts like a diamond necklace and ring, which she later returned. Cheryl later described it to Wendy Williams as a brief, playful romance – “just a little flirtation,” she said.

Showmance or Real Deal: Showmance!

Throughout season ten of Dancing with the Stars, fans speculated about a romantic connection between two particular contestants, and they didn’t do much to discourage the rumors! They even playfully pretended to kiss during one of their final performances. The playful back-and-forth continued years later when Erin became a co-host on the show.

Erin is married to former hockey player Jarret Stoll, and they had a son named Mack in July 2023. As for the rumors about Erin and Maks, we believe it was just a showmance.

Although many people speculated that the two began a romantic relationship during season 17, the Pretty Little Liars actor consistently stated he wasn’t dating Peta.
