This appearance came shortly after she announced her diagnosis and marked her first public speech since 2023, delivered at the Future Workforce Summit in London on November 18th.

Kate has chosen not to share specifics about her medical condition, but she and William have explained to their children how they were dealing with it.
Speaking with Eugene Levy on Apple TV+’s The Reluctant Traveler, William explained that everyone deals with challenges in their own way, and children are always learning and adjusting. He shared that his family prioritizes providing security and safety, and they openly discuss difficult feelings and concerns. However, he acknowledged it’s impossible to fully predict how these conversations will impact his children.
He added that it’s crucial to support one another and let kids know that everything will be alright.
