Kate Middleton’s Personal Assistant of 15 Years Exits Palace

Kate Middleton’s assistant Natasha “Tash” Archer is making a career switch.

After serving for 15 years as a personal assistant to the late Princess of Wales, a woman of 37 years has decided to depart from the private household of Kensington Palace. This departure is confirmed by Kensington Palace to TopMob News, as she embarks on establishing her own independent consultancy.

In the year 2010, Natasha began working for the royal family, serving as a personal assistant to both Kate and Prince William, who are parents to three children: Prince George (age 11), Princess Charlotte (age 10), and Prince Louis (age 7). Additionally, she took on an informal role as Kate’s fashion advisor.

Notably, Natasha has often selected a stunning array of dresses for Kate, some hailing from renowned designers such as Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, while also encouraging her to experiment with the limits of royal fashion. More recently, she has made efforts to reuse and recycle several of Kate’s outfits, reflecting a commitment to sustainability.

Apart from causing a surge in sales of fashion items as soon as Kate Middleton wears them, often referred to as the “Kate Middleton effect,” this former assistant-turned-stylist has also accompanied the royal on numerous global trips and had the privilege of witnessing some of her most memorable moments. Additionally, she tied the knot with renowned royal photographer Chris Jackson in 2017.

In 2013, just before Kate gave birth to Prince George, I, her devoted assistant, could be spotted transporting an outfit and baby seat towards the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital. I also accompanied her and her longtime hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker, on a hike to the Tiger Nest monastery, a sacred Buddhist site in the Himalayas, during a weeklong tour of India and Bhutan in 2016. This was all done to ensure that our royal highness always looked camera-ready.

Indeed, she’s been instrumental in selecting and arranging their attire for numerous events over the years, such as their trips to Australia and New Zealand on official tours.

As a longstanding and trusted confidante, I’ve had the privilege of sharing two sons with my husband of eight years. In recognition of my devoted service to the esteemed royal couple back in 2019, I was humbly bestowed the Royal Victorian Order – an honor typically reserved for former staff members. Fast-forward a few years, and I found myself elevated to the role of Senior Private Executive Assistant.

Now, as Natasha sets out on an adventure beyond the palace walls, continue reading for the latest updates on all royal matters.

According to reports from Kensington Palace, confirmed to NBC News, the Princess of Wales unexpectedly cancelled her scheduled appearance at this year’s Royal Ascot just hours prior to its start.

As reported by the palace, Kate felt regretful about having to skip the occasion, yet she’s currently working on finding a suitable pace for herself in carrying out public duties after her cancer treatment.

Nearly a year and a half following the High Court’s decision not to grant extra protective measures via the Royal and VIP Executive Committee, Prince Harry’s legal battle concluded on May 2 as the court dismissed his case.

After they resigned from their active roles within the royal family in 2021 and relocated to the U.S., Harry and Meghan Markle experienced a reduction in their security arrangements. Nevertheless, during subsequent visits to the U.K., Harry has asked for additional protection.

In simpler terms, Prince Harry expressed deep sadness over losing his court case and currently sees no prospect of returning Britain with his wife and kids due to current circumstances.

Harry mentioned to the BBC on May 2nd that his father, King Charles III, has chosen not to communicate with him due to certain security matters. However, he also expressed a hope for reconciliation.

In a recent statement, Prince Harry, father of Archie and Lilibet, expressed his desire to rebuild relationships within his family. However, it’s up to his father to make the first move.

In the current situation, I find it difficult to envision a time when I’d be returning my spouse and kids to the U.K., which saddens me deeply. It’s unfortunate that I won’t get the chance to introduce my cherished homeland to my children.

Harry said, “My father has a great deal of power and skill to handle things. In the end, he might be the one who resolves this situation, not by interfering directly, but by giving the professionals room to take care of it and proceed as needed.

In spite of the long-lasting disputes, he’s raising a truce banner, aiming for reconciliation. Furthermore, he expressed, “Life is valuable, I’m not sure how many days are left for my father.

About a year since King Charles disclosed his cancer diagnosis, he penned down on April 29th that his health odyssey and cancer treatments serve to highlight the most compassionate aspects of human nature.

In the guidebook for the event offering assistance to cancer patients, Charles wrote: “Every diagnosis, every new case, will be a challenging and sometimes terrifying ordeal for both the individuals and their families.” However, as someone who is part of these statistics, I can confirm that it can also serve as a powerful reminder of humanity’s greatest qualities.

Additionally, he expressed gratitude towards the healthcare professionals who aided him during his ordeal. He also stated that their work has instilled in him an even greater admiration for the exceptional efforts made by these outstanding institutions and individuals present tonight, some of whom he has interacted with, visited, and supported over time.

On April 20th, this year, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were absent from the royal family’s traditional Easter service held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Over the weekend, as King Charles III and Queen Camilla joined the rest of the royal family in festivities, Prince William and Kate opted to stay at their Norfolk countryside residence with their children, according to various news sources.

For the second year in a row, their absence was noticeable during Easter celebrations, as the 2024 festivities fell a week after the announcement of the Princess of Wales’ cancer diagnosis.

On April 15th, it was announced that Jason Knauf had been appointed as the new CEO for Prince William’s organization, The Earthshot Prize. Excited about his new role, he expressed in a statement on their website that he is eager to collaborate with their outstanding team and vibrant Earthshot community in furthering our mission of inspiring urgent optimism for our planet.

Approximately seven years following his initial complaint, he was promoted. This complaint was directed at Meghan Markle, who was accused of bullying two personal assistants and attempting to undermine a third staff member. A representative for the Sussexes refuted these allegations, stating that they were part of a “strategic defamation effort based on distorted and damaging information.

In 2022, investigations conducted at Buckingham Palace regarding certain accusations concluded, yet no resulting evidence or findings were disclosed to the public.

William and Kate’s eldest son George attended a soccer match in Paris alongside his dad April 7.

At the UEFA Champions League Quarter Final, the father and son pair gleamed with joy during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa FC, which took place at the Parc des Princes stadium.

I’m utterly devastated to share that Graham Craker, the esteemed bodyguard who once safeguarded the illustrious princes, Prince Harry and Prince William, departed this world at 77 years old in April.

Cracker was there with the group as they found out that their mother, Princess Diana, had passed away, and he took part in the funeral ceremonies for her.

Regarding this matter, Craker shared with The New York Post in 2017, “I was positioned at the back of the hearse, and William glanced up and recognized me. I returned his gaze and gave a nod. William seemed reassured that I was accompanying his mother during her last journey.

On March 12th, Hugh Grosvenor, the godson of King Charles III, along with his spouse Olivia Grosvenor, made an announcement that they are expecting their initial child together.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I am thrilled to share that this upcoming summer, I will be expanding my own little family. Yes, you heard it right! The joyous news is mine – I’m expecting a new addition. My partner and I are overjoyed about this wonderful turn of events and can hardly wait to embark on this exciting journey together as we welcome our baby into our world.

Frederick Prince, the offspring of Prince Robert and his spouse Julie Princess, passed away on March 1 at the age of 22 following a struggle against PolG mitochondrial disease, an uncommon inherited condition.

In Robert’s statement, he expressed that Frederik is like a Superhero to him and their entire family, as well as to numerous friends, due in large part to his PolG Foundation. He further noted that one of Frederik’s special powers was his capacity to motivate and guide through personal example.

On January 22, Prince Harry, also known as the Duke of Sussex, came to an agreement with News Group Newspapers (the publishers behind The Sun and the now-defunct News of the World) following a lawsuit he filed in 2019. He accused the organization of unlawful activities by their journalists and investigators who were working for the newspapers, aiming to gather information about the royal family.

The agreement involved the company providing “significant compensation,” along with offering a “sincere and unquestionable apology” to Harry, and admitting to the extensive media coverage and invasive scrutiny into his private life, as well as the private life of Princess Diana of Wales, according to NBC News.

On January 14, the Princess of Wales shared the news that her cancer had gone into full remission following comprehensive treatment.

She expressed gratitude to be in remission and continues her journey towards healing, as she posted on platform X, previously known as Twitter, on January 14th. It’s no secret that life after a cancer diagnosis requires time to acclimate to this new way of living.

As I reflect on the year that lies ahead, I can’t help but feel excited and optimistic about what’s to come. There are countless opportunities for growth, adventure, and personal development waiting just around the corner.

In 2015, prior to meeting Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex lost her cherished rescue beagle, a pet she had grown fond of.

On Instagram, she posted on January 7th: “I’ve shed so many tears I can’t even count anymore – the kind of tears that lead you to step into the shower with the unrealistic hope that water streaming down your face will erase them or make them invisible. However, they remain. And that’s alright as well.

Meghan expressed her gratitude for all the years of selfless love, dear Guy, she said. ‘You’ve enriched my life in ways that I may never fully understand.’

Edward “Ed” Pettifer, who was stepson to Prince William and Prince Harry’s former nanny Alexandra Pettifer (also known as Tiggy Legge-Bourke), tragically became a victim of the New Year’s Day terror incident that occurred in New Orleans.

William expressed his shock and sadness over the unfortunate passing of Ed Pettifer, stating this in a message on Kate Middleton’s Instagram Stories on January 4th. His sympathies extend to the Pettifer family as well as everyone else affected by this heartbreaking event,” said William.

On January 1, the former Suits actress – who deactivated her personal social media profiles prior to her 2018 marriage with Prince Harry – launched a standalone Instagram account for the first time.

The following day, she unveiled a fresh Netflix series called “With Love, Meghan.” As stated in a press release, this series redefines the lifestyle programming genre by combining informative tutorials and heartfelt discussions with both familiar and new faces.
